チタン化合物が、三塩化チタン、四塩化チタン、硫酸チタン、オキシ硫酸チタンまたはオキシ塩化チタンである請求項1に記載の製造方法。
【請求項3】
アンモニアの使用量が、チタン化合物を中和するための必要量に対して1.2倍以上20倍以下である請求項1または請求項2に記載の製造方法。
【請求項4】
反応を60℃以下で行う請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の方法。

(1)
A method for producing titanium oxide, comprising mixing and reacting a titanium compound having a purity of 99% or more with ammonia in an amount exceeding a necessary amount for neutralizing the titanium compound, and calcining the obtained product.
(2)
The method according to claim 1, wherein the titanium compound is titanium trichloride, titanium tetrachloride, titanium sulfate, titanium oxysulfate, or titanium oxychloride.
(3)
The method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the amount of ammonia used is 1.2 times or more and 20 times or less with respect to a necessary amount for neutralizing the titanium compound.
(4)
The method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the reaction is performed at a temperature of 60 ° C or lower.
