Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in order to form a hairline pattern on the surface of a resin molded product, an in-mold molding method using a transfer foil formed by metal deposition has been used. In this in-mold molding method, since a very fine groove must be formed in the mold in advance, the followability of the transfer foil at the time of molding is limited, so that the degree of freedom of design of the product shape is small and the transfer foil There was a problem that the cost was high.

In Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 1677, a resin molded product having a hairline pattern not depending on a transfer foil is proposed. FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a conventional resin molded product having a hairline pattern. The surface 12 of the resin molded product 11 is a surface having an aluminum luster, and a pattern 15 in which many hair-like streaks flow in one direction. (Hairline pattern) is formed. Therefore, the surface of the resin molded product 11 looks as if it were the surface of a metal component that has been subjected to conventional hairline processing on a metal product. In addition, the above-mentioned resin molded product 1
1 is, as shown in FIG.
The surface of the resin substrate 13 is coated with a metallic coating film 14 as a coating material containing a brilliant material. The resin base material 13 is, for example, AB
It is made of S, PVC, PP, or the like, and has a large number of ultra-fine grooves 15 extending in one direction in the surface thereof. The depth of the ultrafine groove 15 is 10 to 100 μm, and the length of the groove 15 is about 20 to 30 mm.
The metallic coating film 14 is made of a thermosetting acrylic metallic paint (aluminum powder is mixed) used for an overcoat of an automobile body.
Has a thickness that is not completely concealed.

First, injection molding of the synthetic resin of the base material 13 is performed according to a general injection molding process. In order to shape the hairline pattern on the surface of the molded product, the molding die is formed by sandpaper or a metal brush on the surface of which a large number of ultra-fine grooves are elongated and formed in one direction. It is used. Thereafter, although not shown, a thermosetting acrylic metallic paint is applied to the surface of the molded resin base material 13 according to a general process on the ultrafine grooves 15.
Is spray-coated to such a thickness that it is not completely concealed, thereby covering the surface of the resin base material 13 with the metallic coating film 14 as a brilliant material-containing coating film. The thickness of the glittering material-containing coating film is not generally limited, but the thinner the coating film, the more preferable. The brilliant material may be any material that gives a metallic luster to the coating film by emitting a unique or metal-like shine in the coating film, and examples thereof include aluminum powder and titanized mica pigment. The type and composition of the glitter material-containing paint are not particularly limited. For example, a metallic paint used for the top coat of an automobile body, that is, one in which aluminum powder is mixed in a translucent enamel (for example, a thermosetting acrylic paint), or a pearl paint used similarly for the top coat, Those in which the titanized mica pigment is mixed in a translucent enamel are satisfactorily applied.

である。[0005] The resin molded article 1 thus produced has a surface having an aluminum luster and a pattern in which a number of hair-like streaks flow in one direction. Looks like a metal surface on which is formed, and thus has an excellent performance that is comparable to a conventional hairline processed product made of a metal product and is much lighter than a metal product. In addition, by coating the surface of the metallic coating film 14 with the clear paint, it is possible to finish the resin molded article having the clear coating film as the uppermost layer. The clear coating film is a colorless and transparent coating film made of a clear coating material (a coating material containing no pigment).
It is overlaid and coated on the above-mentioned glittering material-containing coating film. The thickness of the clear coating is generally not limited. Further, as the clear paint, for example, a clear paint used for the uppermost layer of a top coat of an automobile body can be more preferably applied. That is.

A resin molded product having a hairline pattern has the following problems. (1) The thickness of the metallic coating film 4 as the glittering material-containing coating film is such that the microscopic grooves 15 formed by the mold are not completely hidden, that is, the thinner the coating film, the more Since it is preferable, the adhesiveness to the object to be coated is extremely low and the texture of a uniform metallic tone is deteriorated. (2) If there is a gate or a hole on the back of the molded product, the hairline will be displaced due to sinkage, resulting in poor appearance.

20 μm), a metallic paint of the same type as the metallic paint color, that is, one in which aluminum powder is mixed in a transparent acrylic (for example, a two-component curable acrylic urethane paint), or is similarly used for the overcoat. Pearl paint is used. The pigment in the metallic coating must be of the same type as the metallic coating color. For example, in the case of a black or gray metallic coating, the metallic feeling disappears and the appearance unevenness is not preferable.

A base coat (undercoat) 4 having a thickness of 15 to 20 μm was applied to a resin molded product 3 injection-molded with S resin using a metallic paint. Thereafter, a glittering paint obtained by dissolving 3% by weight of the above powdery crushed pieces (15 μm square) having a 0.05 μm aluminum deposition layer in the middle part of an acrylic film and 2% by weight of an acrylic paint, A 0.7 μm coating was performed on the base coat 4. In this state, the powder-shaped or plate-shaped debris (acrylic film) having the aluminum vapor-deposited layer is arranged smoothly on the surface to be coated, and exhibits a uniform metallic luster (metallic feeling). I have.

Since the surface is then subjected to a clear coating, the hairline pattern formed by the conventional method is applied to the hairline pattern. By applying the metallic coating of, the feeling of discomfort in the invisible portion when the hairline processing is performed on the metal painted surface is reduced, and a uniform metallic tone can be obtained. Also, a gate on the back of the molded product,
Even if there is a hole, since it is covered with the undercoat, there is no risk that the eyes of the hairline will shift or the appearance will be poor.
