FIG. 1 shows a burner according to the invention, which has a combustion chamber (4) provided with a gas nozzle (3) and an air outlet (9). The chamber wall (5) of the combustion chamber (4) is formed of a heat-resistant metal material such as stainless steel. Next, double air passages (8a) and (8b) are provided on the outer periphery of the chamber wall (5).
Is provided as an air passage from the air supply source A to the air outlet (9). Next, the gas nozzle (3) is connected to the gas supply source G via the gas path (2), so that the high temperature combustion nozzle and the red fire combustion nozzle can be easily replaced. The operation of the burner of the present invention shown in the above embodiment is as follows. That is, the gas from the gas nozzle (3) and the air from the air outlet (9) burn in the combustion chamber (4). The heat of the combustion chamber (4) passes through the air passages (8a) (8) through the chamber wall (5) made of a refractory metal material.
b), so that the air rises in temperature. Conversely, since the chamber wall (5) is cooled by air, a heat-resistant metal material that is not a burner tile can sufficiently withstand it. As described above, since the air whose temperature has risen is used for combustion, generation of NOX is small even in high-temperature combustion. That is, the measured values in the examples were 150 ppm at 1350 ° C and 1000 ° C.
And the NOx value was 80 ppm or less, which was 1/3 to 1/2 that of a normal burner using a burner tile.
Next, in the case of burning with red fire, the air whose temperature has risen is used for combustion, so that the mixture becomes almost completely mixed and the generation of CO is small. That is, as a measured value of the example, CO was zero ppm in the combustion in which the remaining O 2 was 2 to 3%.

(1) In the burner of the present invention, in particular, the chamber wall is made of a heat-resistant metal material, and the air is preheated in an air passage around the chamber wall. (2) In the burner of the present invention, in particular, the room wall is made of a heat-resistant metal material, and the air is preheated in the air passage on the outer periphery thereof. (3) In the burner of the present invention, since the air path is particularly formed on the outer periphery of the chamber wall, the chamber wall is cooled, and a heat-resistant metal material can be used instead of the burner tile. (4) Since the burner of the present invention uses a heat-resistant metal material instead of the burner tile especially for the room wall, it can be easily replaced in the case of breakage or the like.
