2. Description of the Related Art Tatami mats are cut to a predetermined size and sewn to the floor or sheets or tacked. At this time, of course, the side of the perpendicular to the rush is not lost. In addition, there is almost no problem that the warp thread comes off, and there is little problem.

However, at the end (frame side) parallel to the rush, the rush often comes off in a direction parallel to the warp. When the rush at the tip falls off, the rush will come off one after another, or even if it does not come off, the distance between the rushes will widen and become loose. This tendency is particularly strong in imitation rushes made of plastic.

Therefore, in order to prevent this, the end has been fixed after cutting. The fixing method is generally a method of melting the rush by pressing with a hot iron or the like, or a method of bonding with an adhesive.

However, in the method of melting rush with heat, even if only the surface portion of the rush is melted, the inside is not fixed to the warp, so that the effect of retaining the rush is small. In order to prevent this, if it is sufficiently fixed to the warp, it must be melted to the inside, which takes time. Further, since the surface is sequentially melted into the inside, when the inside is melted, the surface becomes very poor. In addition, the adhesive method is troublesome, difficult to mechanize, and costs more than the fusion method.

Therefore, there has been a long-awaited need in the industry for such a method for preventing the rush from falling off, which is inexpensive and time-consuming.

In view of the above situation, the present inventor has completed the rush bonding method of the present invention as a result of intensive studies, and the feature of the method is that it is a thermoplastic resin imitation. The present invention relates to a method for preventing the rush of a tatami mat on which a rush is woven, in which the imitation rush and the warp are fixed by an ultrasonic bonding method.

[0010] The ultrasonic bonding method is a commonly used bonding method for bonding plastic films, and is a known bonding method.
The device is also commercially available. The present invention may also use such a commercially available device. The feature of the present invention resides in that the imitation rush and the warp are fixed by an ultrasonic bonding method, and is applied to such an unrelated field.

Normally, the ultrasonic bonding apparatus comprises an ultrasonic generator, a tool horn, and a lower base material. The ultrasonic waves emitted from the horn melt the rushes placed between the horn and the substrate. In this case, instead of melting from the surface of the rush, it is melted from the portion where the rush and the warp overlap and the portion where the rush and the warp are in contact, so that the inside is more intimate than the surface.

As a result, the surface of the rush is less likely to be crushed or discolored, but is in close contact with the warp.

The junction is at the end of the tatami mat parallel to the rush. This is because the rush comes off from the end. However, it is not necessary to join the last one of the ends at the end thereof over the entire length. The rush to be bonded may be applied not only to the end but also to the inner side. For example, if they are joined in an oblique direction, not only one rusher but also the inner one is fixed.

This joining may be carried out continuously on the exit side of the loom for continuously weaving the tatami mat, after cutting one by one at a tatami store, or at any time. Moreover, you may carry out simultaneously with the apparatus which cuts a tatami table (integrally possible).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail based on embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an example in which a simulated rush 1 mainly composed of polypropylene is woven with a cotton yarn as a warp yarn 2. Ultrasonic waves were applied from above the end rusher 3 and joined. At this time, if the device is short, the tatami table 4 is moved several times. This completes the joining of warp and rush.
In particular, the portion 5 where the warp and the rush overlap is well joined. Of course, the rushes (mainly upper and lower) are also joined. In this figure, although the color of the endmost rush is changed, the surface can be actually changed with little color change.

After that, a normal tatami table may be sewn to the floor or the like. In short, the processing after joining is free.

FIG. 2 shows that the joints (linear joints) 6 are not parallel to the rusher but are inclined. As described above, if a plurality of extruders are joined instead of joining only one extruder (usually the endmost end), there is also an effect that even if the endmost extruder comes off, the next extruder stops.

The gusset joining method of the tatami mat of the present invention described in detail above has the following significant effects. (1) Just by applying it to the ultrasonic bonding device, the rush can be easily prevented from coming off, which is very convenient. (2) Since the rush at the end does not come off or move, the portion of the rush that is exposed on the surface of the tatami does not move and does not loosen or have a gap. (3) Since it is sufficiently fixed to the warp, there is no need to pull out and stop several rushes, and there is no waste of rush. (4) There is no risk of burns as in the case of using a hot melt adhesive. (5) It is a safe end-stopping method that does not have an adverse effect on the skin, eyes, etc. as when using an instant adhesive. (6) There is no need to constantly stock materials like hot melt adhesives and instant adhesives. (7) The end stop used for the tatami mat for heating uses a hot-melt adhesive to reduce adhesion due to heat generation (60 to 80 ° C.) from a heating device and loose the rush, but in the method of the present invention, If the resin does not reach its original melting point, it will not loosen. Therefore, it is suitable for heating.
