Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated fiberboard box equipped with a multiple layer wall, which eliminates such a problem that a conventional type box, wherein wing walls connected from respective side ends of one pair of confronted side walls are superposed and made into the other pair of confronted side walls, is weak to a force which pushes to open the side walls outward or the like, and of which the strength has been greatly increased. SOLUTION: One sheet of a corrugated fiberboard which becomes the material for this box is equipped with a configuration wherein to respective side ends of one pair of confronted side walls being connected to one pair of confronted edges of the bottom surface of the box, two folding wing walls to be doubly folded in the vertical direction are connected. Then, on the upper edges of one set of the doubly folding wing walls which have been already superposed and are confronted under a standing state, fitting pieces and notches for fitting which are fitted in each other, in order to fix the superposed state are provided. To the other pair of confronted edges of the bottom surface, the other pair of confronted side walls which are superposed on the doubly folding wing walls are connected. Then, lid pieces may be connected to one pair of the confronted side walls, and lid closing pieces may be connected to the other pair of the confronted side walls.

As is apparent from the above description, the cardboard box provided with the multi-layered wall according to the present invention has a sleeve wall connected to each side end of one of the opposing side walls, and the other opposing side wall. The above type has extremely excellent effects as listed below as compared with the conventional type. (A) When a force is applied to push the side walls outward during the handling of the box, it is possible to surely eliminate the risk that the set of sleeve walls in the overlapped state shifts and the shape of the box collapses. (B) The side wall portion where the sleeve walls are overlapped with each other has a corrugated cardboard of 5 pieces.
Since the layers are overlapped with each other, the pressure resistance of the box is extremely excellent, and the box can withstand multi-stacking sufficiently. (C) Even if the box is slightly wet, it can withstand external pressure. (D) Therefore, even fruits and vegetables that are easily damaged by a slight pressing force can be reliably protected. (E) Use of thinner corrugated cardboard is sufficient because the pressure resistance of the box is greatly increased, and material costs are correspondingly reduced. Can be saved.
