Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply form an intermediate splice and an end concentrated splice. SOLUTION: The insulating coverings of the intermediate parts and the end parts of a plurality of electrical wires are stripped off, and their cores are exposed. In a bundled state of these cores, the band portion of a fastening band having a conductive part at least on the internal surface side of the band portion is wound, and passed through a fastening part to fasten and fix the cores.

In the case of the above-mentioned intermediate splice, it is necessary to crimp the intermediate crimp terminal 20 with a crimping machine, which requires crimping equipment. Also, in the case of the terminal concentrated splice, a very expensive resistance welding machine or ultrasonic welding machine is required. As described above, in both the intermediate splice and the terminal-concentrated splice, there is a problem that splice facilities are required and the cost is increased. Therefore, for example, there has been a problem that it is not possible to cope with a case where an operator simply wants to make a splice connection in a trial stage of a wire harness or the like.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a method of peeling off the insulating coating of the middle portion or the terminal portion of a plurality of electric wires, exposing the core wires, and bundling the core wires. A wire splice structure is provided in which at least an inner surface side of the band portion is wound around the above-mentioned band portion of a fastening band formed of a highly conductive resin and passed through the fastening portion and fastened and fixed.

As described above, in the present invention, a fastening band is provided by using a resin made of the following composition having the same high conductivity as that of a metal, and the fastening band itself has conductivity. Therefore, when the cores of the electric wires are tightened and fixed by the fastening band, the cores and the outer periphery of the core can be reliably brought into contact with the conductive band, and the intermediate splice portion and the terminal splice portion having high electrical connection reliability. Can be formed.

Therefore, it is necessary to form the fastening band at least on the side in contact with the core wire with a highly conductive resin, and on the non-contact side with the core wire with an insulating resin, to form two colors of the highly conductive resin and the insulating resin. The fastening band may be formed by molding. Needless to say, the entire fastening band may be formed of a highly conductive resin.

As described above, since it is only necessary to wind the fastening band around the core wire and tighten it, the operator can easily make a splice connection. Therefore, when a wire harness is prototyped, or when a small quantity is to be produced, the intermediate splice portion and the terminal concentrated splice portion can be formed without using a crimping machine or a welding machine.

Further, since the fastening band is wound around the core wire, the number of electric wires to be spliced can be set to an arbitrary number. In particular, in the case of the intermediate splice, the connection by the conventional intermediate crimping terminal has been limited to two or three wires. However, if the fastening band of the present invention is used, three or more electric wires can be spliced. ,

As shown in (B), a plurality of electric wire groups are terminally spliced. That is, as in the conventional case, the insulating coatings wh of the terminals of the plurality of electric wires w are respectively peeled off by a required length to expose the cores wc, and the cores wc are bundled. In this state, at the position with the required dimensions from the tip,
The band part 3 of the fastening band 1 is wound around the band part 3.
The tip is passed through the insertion hole 2a of the fastening portion 2 and pulled to pull the locking claw 2b of the fastening portion 2 at a required position to the locked portion 3a of the band portion 3.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2C, a tape 6 is wound around the outer periphery of the fastening band 1 and the core wire wc.
Further, the tape 6 is also wound around the end face side of the core wire w-c to cover it. Thus, the fastening band 1 having conductivity
In addition, since the entire core wire w-c exposed by peeling is covered with the tape 6, the terminal concentrated splice portion 5 can be insulated. Note that a tape 7 may be wound around the terminal group at a position separated by a required distance from the terminal concentrated splice portion 5. Due to the winding of the tape 7, even if a pulling force acts on the wire group, the terminal concentrated splice portion 5
And the load on the terminal concentrated splice portion 5 can be reduced. In the insulation treatment of the terminal concentrated splice portion 5, instead of the winding of the tape 6, the insulating cap shown in the above-mentioned conventional example may be covered, and the tongue piece may be fixed to the wire group by tape winding.
