Like a pager using a broadcast transmitter
Method for transmitting information to a mobile receiver
The invention relates to a mobile receiver, for example a pager or a mobile communication- or satellite communication system.
For transmitting information to a mobile part of a vehicle.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a broadcast transmitter for the emission of a broadcast signal, comprising an analog input
Having a coder for signal compression and digital coding,
Having a supplied modulator and a high frequency stage operating in the short, medium or long wave range, wherein
And the broadcast signal is radiated at a variable bit rate.
About.
The subject of the present invention is also a mobile receiver, the mobile receiver comprising:
To receive incoming digitally coded information in the
Mobile reception, which is configured to store and / or indicate stored information.
It is a shinki.
Normal pagers and mobile phones operate in the frequency range from 100 MHz to several GHz.
However, it cannot be used anywhere due to physical conditions and circumstances.
Is because the radiotelephone is shielded by obstacles such as walls, underground metal walls
.
Examples of this are deep galleys inside subways, basements, large buildings, etc.
It is di. Also, “My” is sometimes used in areas where it is difficult to reach or operate.
The “cross station” does not provide any solution to the basic problem.
As such, it increases network equipment and maintenance costs.
One mobile part is the network infrastructure of the network operator.
If you are located in an area without tea, you will not be able to access it for other reasons.
Should not be blocked for security reasons, such as in aircraft or congestion stations.
Must be or other physical effect phenomenon, such as normally moving
This is because the Doppler effect, fading, and the like in the vehicle disable the connection.
The situation described above means that in the network already the conventional call memory ("Mailb
ox "), which is a network basement
As soon as the connection to the base station can be re-established, the user of the mobile part receives the call
This is because the moly can be accessed. Users may call back to other subscribers in advance.
Do not know that recalls should be urgent.
The above is even more true for satellite phones, because the satellite phones
Is configured to maintain connections with other subscribers via satellite.
You. Here, "Line-of-Sight"
Line-of-sight connection in the sense of "intra-propagation"
Because it must be formed in The high frequency used-this is 1.5
~ 2GHz or higher-and already low on walls or trees due to extremely low reception power
It is an obstacle that is difficult to overcome for gathering of collective leaves, etc.
Outside or at the side of the window-the window, and thus its antenna, is oriented in the correct sky direction
If you do-you can only make calls.
If the user does not want to make a connection, use a satellite phone or its antenna.
It should be brought to the proper “Line-of-Sight” (line-of-sight propagation) position
. However, the user will still be able to access the satellite telephone antenna while cruising in any vehicle.
Is not convinced that is in "Line-of-Sight" (line-of-sight propagation)
Therefore, connection with other telephone subscribers is impossible and the access call may be seized.
Absent.
An object of the present invention is to find a solution to the above problem.
According to the invention, to solve the above-mentioned problem, a method of the type described at the beginning is based.
It is characterized in that at least one specific information to be transmitted to the receiver is transmitted.
In addition to the broadcast signal, the transmitter radiates the signal in addition to the broadcast signal.
The bit rate is modulated by the digital system, and the data rate is compressed and fluctuated.
Adapted to the broadcast signal to be transmitted continuously, and where the maximum possible
Unused channel capacity is specified information in the time interval when the bit rate is not transmitted
The empty channel capacity is filled with the maximum bit rate and the broadcast signal.
The difference is provided by the difference from the more required bit rate.
An advantage provided by the present invention is information, particularly known pager messages.
Existing equipment for transmission of short information in the sense of message information, ie for short, medium and long wave
Can be used. Receiver access connectivity significantly improved
Here, the frequency range of the broadcast band to be used is consciously selected according to need.
I can do it.
Thus, in the case of long waves, its great penetration into underground areas, concrete, water, etc.
Unfavorable conditions due to depth, for example basements, deep garages and long tunnels
Can also transmit information, and as a result, the GSM
Ndiphone can access short information. Also, long waves are unrelated to the time of the day.
It has a very high reach.
Even in the mid-wave range, a significant number of transmitters still operate or
And reactivated, resulting in a good coverage area coverage.
Even if short waves are subject to time-dependent electric field fluctuations more than medium waves
Even a well extended transmission
Network is also possible, and in some cases,
The large possible reach can have quite significant significance.
Therefore, the present invention does not require the installation of a new transmitter-such a new installation
Difficult anyway in the short-wave, medium-wave, and long-wave regions with small frequency capacity
Sex-rather than just modernizing the existing transmitter,
No need for a separate location or antenna.
In an advantageous variation to achieve free channel capacity, the broadcast receiver
Is not dynamically scaled, and
Variable length code is used.
In an advantageous variant that does not impair the broadcast operation mode at all, the broadcast receiver
It is designed so that communication always takes place with higher priority than transmission of specific information. In addition,
Advantageously, the specific information is classified into signals with different priorities for transmission.
You.
More advantageously, the smaller the permissible delay is set for real-time transmission, the better.
The priority may be configured to be transmitted higher and higher. Because it is
Randomly accepts delays in the pager signal-here in the minute (min) region
Can transmit signaling to mobile or satellite phones with less delay
Because.
According to a further embodiment, the bits of the specific information to be transmitted exceed a predetermined degree.
Bits of the broadcast signal coded based on excessively small channel capacity since the stagnation
The rate may be configured to be temporarily reduced. Thus, for example,
If a relatively complicated broadcast receiver causes such bit stagnation, the transmission of specific information
Where the required bit rate reduction for normal broadcast signals is almost complete.
I can't.
Advantageously, the specific information is encoded in a variable length digital information block
It is good to be constituted. That is because of the ratio of free channel capacity
This is because relatively good utilization means can be obtained. Here, signals of different priorities are advantageously
The classification information for the code is written in the header of the information block.
For reasons already mentioned, it is preferred that: one or more broadcast transmissions
The machine is configured to operate in the 150 KHz to 30 MHz range.
You. Here, radiation is carried out simultaneously at various frequencies, for example in the longwave and especially in the medium-wave range.
Special advantages are obtained.
This problem is solved as follows for a broadcast transmitter of the type described at the beginning.
In other words, specific information is additionally supplied to the coder, and the coder is configured as follows.
The time interval in which the maximum possible bit rate is not transmitted, ie
Available channels at
The capacity is filled with specific information, said free channel capacity is the maximum bit rate
And the bit rate required by the broadcast signal
It is done. The advantages obtained here have already been explained in connection with the method of the invention.
I have.
According to an advantageous variant, the coder gives the broadcast signal a higher priority than the specific information.
Is configured to be forwarded for transmission.
Further advantageously, the coder is provided with signals of specific information of different priorities.
It is being done. Also advantageously, it can be designed as follows:
, The coder is configured to read the priority of the signal from the header of the signal block
It is.
A feature of the advantageous variation is that the coder specifies that certain information should be transmitted.
Temporarily lowers the bit rate of the coded broadcast signal after a predetermined bit stagnation
It is configured to do so.
In order to solve the problem, a mobile receiver of the type described above can be used.
The transceiver is to receive the incoming digitally encoded information in the information block.
And is configured to store and / or indicate the decoded information.
Because
The mobile receiver is located in the pager or is mobile as an additional receiver
It may be provided in a wireless device or a satellite phone. To improve access connectivity
It is also possible to design as follows: substantially like shortwave and longwave
It is also possible to arrange to continuously receive the broadcast transmitter in different bands.
The invention will now be described with further advantages in connection with the illustrated embodiment.

何れか1項記載の移動受信機(PAG,PWE)。[Procedure amendment] Article 184-8, Paragraph 1 of the Patent Act [Submission date] March 25, 1999 (Feb. 25, 1999) [Content of amendment] Description Moving like a pager using a broadcast transmitter FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for communicating information to a mobile receiver, for example a pager or a mobile part of a mobile communication- or satellite communication system. Further, the present invention is a broadcast transmitter for the emission of a broadcast signal, comprising a coder for compression and digital coding of an analog input signal, comprising a modulator supplied with the coded signal, The present invention relates to such a broadcast transmitter having a high frequency stage operating in the short, medium or long wave range, wherein the broadcast signal is emitted at a variable bit rate. The present invention is also directed to a mobile receiver, which receives an incoming digitally coded information in an information block, and receives the decoded information. A mobile receiver configured to store and / or indicate. U.S. Pat. No. 5,552,779 discloses a pager for receiving and decoding received information and for indicating the symbol "icons" for visualizing the type and format of incoming information. And means for indicating numerical data for indicating the time of receiving information. Ordinary pagers and mobile phones operate in the frequency range of 100 MHz to several GHz, and cannot be used anywhere due to physical conditions and circumstances, because wireless phones are like walls and underground metal walls. This is because they are shielded by various obstacles. Examples of this are deep garages inside subways, basements, large buildings and the like. Also, "microstations", which are sometimes used in inaccessible and poorly operated areas, do not provide any solution to the basic problem. Apart from that, it increases network equipment and maintenance costs. FIG. 4 FIG. 5 [Procedure of Amendment] Article 184-8, Paragraph 1 of the Patent Act [Date of Submission] April 30, 1999 (1999.4.30) [Details of Amendment] Claims 12. The broadcast transmitter according to claim 11, wherein the coder (COD) is configured to transfer and relay the broadcast signal (AUD) with a higher priority than the specific information. 13. 13. The broadcast transmitter according to claim 11, wherein the broadcast transmitter is configured to supply signals (NR1, NR2, NR3) of specific information (INF) having different priorities to the coder (COD). 14. 14. The broadcast transmitter according to claim 12, wherein the coder (COD) is configured to read out the priority of the signal (AUD, NR1, NR2, NR3) from the header of the signal block. 15. The coder (COD) is configured to temporarily reduce the bit rate of the coded broadcast signal (AUD) after a predetermined bit stagnation of the specific information (INF) to be transmitted. Item 15. The transmitter according to any one of items 11 to 14. 16. In a mobile receiver, it has the following components: a) for the reception of the broadcast receiver and for the reception of the digitally coded information (INF) coming into the information block (BLO). B) having second means for demodulation of broadcast signals (AUD) emitted at varying bit rates; and c) decoding of digitally encoded specific information (INF). And a vacant channel capacity filled by the coder (COD) of the broadcast transmitter with the specific information (INF), wherein the vacant channel capacity is determined by the maximum possible bit rate and Provided in a time interval in which there is a difference from the bit rate required by the broadcast signal, and d) having a fourth means for storing and / or indicating the decoded information. Mobile receiver that. 17. 17. The receiver according to claim 16, wherein the receiver is provided in a pager (PAG). 18. 17. The receiver according to claim 16, wherein the receiver is provided in a mobile radio device or a satellite telephone as an additional receiver (RWE). 19. 19.
