Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 固定及び可変ビットレート(CBR及びVBR)トラヒックをN(F)タ イムスロットを含むフレームに分割される通信チャネルに統合するための、複数 のユーザ局から到来する待ち呼にチャネルスロットを割り当てる方法であって、 両トラヒックタイプの通常の負荷状態において、各フレームは、N(C)スロッ トからなるCBRトラヒックサブフレーム、N(Vmin)スロットからなるVB Rトラヒックサブフレーム、及びそれらの間の、フレームの(N(F)−N(C )−N(Vmin))の残りのスロットからなり共通リソースプール(CRP)と 呼ばれるサブフレームに、2つの境界によって細分され、その割り当て方法は、 (a)VBRトラヒック負荷がCBRトラヒックの負荷より増加すると、割り 当てられていないCBRチャネルを含ませるために、それらの間の境界はCRP 及びCBRサブフレームの内側に移動し、 (b)CBRトラヒックが上昇すると、小さなVBRトラヒック負荷において 、前記境界はCRPにおいてVBRサブフレームの方向に移動し、その置換はV BRトラヒックのために永続的に確保されているリソースN(Vmin)の最小数 により制限され、 (c)両トラヒックタイプのトラヒック負荷が高い状態では、CBRトラヒッ クリソースはN(C)に制限され、その間、フレームにおける残りのリソースN (V)=N(F)−N(C)はVBRトラヒックにとって使用可能となる各ステ ップを有する方法。 2. 固定及び可変ビットレート(CBR及びVBR)トラヒックをN(F)タ イムスロットを含むフレームに分割される通信チャネルに統合するための、複数 のユーザ局から到来する待ち呼にチャネルスロットを割り当てるシステムであっ て、該システムは到来するCBR呼接続を格納するのための第1の有限長CBR キューと、到 来するVBRメッセージを格納するための第2の無限キューと、前記フレームに 関連した制御期間の開始において前記2つのキューの各々の充填レベルを監視す るためのフレーム割り当て制御器とを有し、各フレームは、両トラヒックタイプ の通常の負荷状態において、N(C)スロットからなるCBRトラヒックサブフ レーム、N(Vmin)スロットからなるVBRトラヒックサブフレーム、及びそ れらの間の、フレームの(N(F)−N(C)−N(Vmin))の残りのスロッ トからなり共通リソースプール(CRP)と呼ばれるサブフレームに2つの境界 によって細分され、その割り当て方法は、 (a)VBRトラヒック負荷がCBRトラヒックの負荷より増加すると、割り 当てられていないCBRチャネルを含ませるために、それらの間の境界はCRP 及びCBRサブフレームの内側に移動し、 (b)CBRトラヒックが上昇すると、小さなVBRトラヒック負荷において 、前記境界はCRPにおいてVBRサブフレームの方向に移動し、その置換はV BRトラヒックのために永続的に確保されているリソースN(Vmin)の最小数 により制限され、 (c)両トラヒックタイプのトラヒック負荷が高い状態では、CBRトラヒッ クリソースはN(C)に制限され、その間、フレームにおける残りのリソースN (V)=N(F)−N(C)はVBRトラヒックにとって使用可能となる各ステ ップに従って実行されるシステム。 3. 前記ステップ(b)は、 (b1)待ち呼のためにCRPからチャネルが割り当てられる前に、前記第2 のキューの長さは監視され、 (i)前記長さが所定の閾値より小さい場合、CBR呼はCRPサブフレ ームにおけるアクセスを与えられ、 (ii)前記長さが前記閾値を超える場合、CBR要求はCRPサブフレ ームへの゛アクセスを拒否され、前記キューの長さが前 記閾値より小さくなった場合にのみ、CBRサブフレーム又はCRPサブフレー ムにおいてリソースの解放を待つようにされ、 (b2)新たなCBR呼要求が到来したときに、前記第1のキューが完全に満 たされている場合、前記要求は遮断され、前記システムから削除される各サブス テップを有する請求項2に記載のシステム。 4. 前記閾値は、CBRトラヒックに割り当てられたCRPリソースの数の関 数として動的に変化し、前記閾値は前記数が増加すると減少する請求項3に記載 のシステム。
