この発明は、化学的または物理的に発泡可能なポリマからなる繊維を含む繊維
結合、ならびにそのような繊維結合の利用およびその製造工程に関するものであ
る。
ポリマ繊維は紡績ないし押し出し成形によって製造され、主に縫合材料や繊維
製品の製造に使用されるが、また多くの工業技術製品にも利用される。ポリマ繊
維は一般に、織物、メリヤス、編物または不織布等の繊維結合に加工され、これ
らの加工品からさらに、衣料品、布製品またはコーティング材料、ろ布、フィル
タ織物、梱包シート、装丁等のための繊維材料が製造される。さらに、例えば繊
維工業技術においてはポリマ繊維と天然繊維、工業用目的ではポリマ繊維と金属
