Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 排水系統に用いられる総汚染物質濾過装置であって、水および総汚染 物質を運ぶ前記濾過装置は、 入口と、 前記入口より低い位置にある出口と、 前記総汚染物質の一部を停留するための保持チャンバー手段を形成す る水濾過手段であって、前記入口の高さより低く位置する水濾過手段と、 水濾過手段出口であって、該水濾過手段出口を流れる濾過水が前記入 口と出口との間の水および総汚染物質の流れに対する水遮壁を作るように前記入 口と出口との間の高さで位置する水濾過手段出口と、を備えることを特徴とする 総汚染物質濾過装置。 2. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、水および総汚染物質 が前記入口から前記濾過手段へ通るよりも、前記入口から前記出口へより簡単に 通るように、前記濾過手段を通る水の流れが減少するときに、前記水遮壁が沈降 することを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 3. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記水遮壁は前記出 口に隣接して位置することを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 4. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過手段は前記 排水系統の現存管路(existing line)および流れ等級(flow grade)に配置される ことを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 5. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過手段は前記 濾過手段の底部から、前記入口および前記水濾過手段出口の間の連絡水路(water communication)を備える前記水濾過手段出口の水位までの容量に達している垂 直濾過部材を含むことを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 6. 請求項5に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過部材の1種 または2種以上が交換もしくは洗浄用に取外し可能であることを特徴とする総汚 染物質濾過装置。 7. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過手段および 前記濾過手段出口の間の流体連絡路に位置する静水容積(stilling volume)をさ らに含むことを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 8. 請求項7に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過手段に隣接 する前記静水容積(stilling volume)は、前記濾過手段出口への浮遊汚染物質の 流れが前記濾過手段内に停留されない汚染物質であるように制限するために、そ の中に位置する少なくとも1つの隔壁を有することを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過 装置。 9. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過手段出口の 許容流量は、少なくとも前記入口の許容流量と同等であることを特徴とする総汚 染物質濾過装置。 10. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記入口から前記濾 過手段に流入する雨水の量は制限手段によって制限されることを特徴とする総汚 染物質濾過装置。 11. 請求項10に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記制限手段は入 口領域と側壁部材とによって部分的に形成される傾斜した空隙(tapered cavity) を備えることを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 12. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過手段から水 を吸い上げるために、前記濾過手段と前記装置の外部との間に位置するサイフォ ン手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 13. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記濾過手段は洗浄 およびメンテナンス用に前記濾過手段への接近を可能にするための取外し可能な 上面部材を有することを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 14. 請求項1に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記入口は前記濾過 部材への指示手段に隣接する水および総汚染物質経路を備えるように配置される ことを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過装置。 15. 請求項14に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記入口の水およ び総汚染物質経路は、壁に隣接して配置されることを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過 装置。 16. 前出のいずれかの請求項に記載の総汚染物質濾過装置において、前記 各水路は少なくとも前記入口の通水量を有することを特徴とする総汚染物質濾過 装置。
