2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 1 is an external view showing a general sliding door frame, which comprises two vertical frame members 1, 1 and an upper frame member 2, and a lower frame member 3. 1, 2, 3 form a rectangle and are framed. By the way, a sliding door is fitted in such a sliding door frame so that it can be opened and closed. However, when the sliding door is completely closed, a slight gap may be formed between the sliding door and the inner surface of the vertical frame member. Of course, such a gap does not occur in a newly constructed state, but a gap occurs due to the entire building being squeezed over a long period of time and the frame material being deformed by drying.

The cover member of the present invention is a member attached to the front of the sliding door frame, and generally a plastic molding material is used. The cover material generally includes a lower material and a protective cover. The lower material is fixed to the frame material, and the protective cover is detachable from the lower material. Therefore, if the protective cover becomes dirty or scratched, only the protective cover can be replaced with a new one. If the frame material is already dirty, the lower material can be fixed and the protective cover can be attached to remodel it. You can do it.

The protection cover attached to the vertical frame member has a shape slightly protruding from the inner surface of the vertical frame member, and a gap cover portion is formed so as to cover a gap generated between the closed sliding door and the inner surface. Has formed. By the way, the lower material is screwed or nailed to the front of the frame material, and one protective cover has an approximately L-shaped cross-sectional shape capable of covering an area from the front to the back, and is fixedly attached to the lower material. . That is, locking parts are provided at both ends of the lower material,
A locking piece formed on the protective cover can be locked to the locking portion, and can be freely attached and detached. Here, the lower material may have a length extending over the entire length of the frame material. Alternatively, a short lower material may be fixed to both ends of the frame material, and both ends of the protective cover may be fixed to both lower materials. Here, the specific structure of the locking means is not limited.

The object of the cover material of the present invention is to prevent the front surface of the frame material from being scratched or stained,
This is a point that covers the scratched front and covers a gap that occurs between the inner surface of the vertical frame member when the sliding door is completely closed. Therefore, it is only necessary to attach the cover material to the vertical frame material if it only covers the gap, and if the sliding door frame is to be reformed to prevent dirt and scratches, the cover material should be attached to the vertical frame material and the upper and lower frame materials. Attach. The vertical frame member has a gap cover protruding from the inner surface. Further, if the cover material is attached only to the vertical frame material for the gap cover, it is not necessary to configure the lower material and the protective cover. Less than,
Embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

In general, a decorative film having a wood grain pattern is stuck on the surface of the protective cover 13 so that the protective cover 13 can have the same appearance as the vertical frame 1. In the embodiment, the case where the cover member is attached to the vertical frame member 1 has been described. However, the cover member can be attached to the upper frame member 2 and the lower frame member 3 in the same manner. In the case of reforming, it can be easily performed simply by removing the dirty or scratched protective cover 13 and attaching a new protective cover 13. On the other hand, when replacing the wallpaper or cloth on the wall, the protective cover 13 is removed and the wallpaper is pasted, and the protective cover 1 is attached so that the edge of the wallpaper does not peel off.
3 is attached and pressed with the back piece 15.

However, according to the present invention, since the cover member is attached from the front surface 4 to the rear surface 19 of the vertical frame member 1, it is not necessary to provide the concave grooves 24, 24. By attaching the cover member, the connecting piece 9 of the lower member 5 and the back piece 15 of the protective cover 13 come into contact with the board surface, and the vertical frame member 1 is correctly positioned. In addition, it is possible to cover the opening of the board and cover a gap generated between the opening and the back surface 19. This is the same for the lower frame member 3 and the upper frame member 2.

FIG. 7 shows a case where the cover member of the present invention is attached to the lower frame member 3. This cover member is obtained by attaching a protective cover 13 to a lower member 5 fixed to the lower frame member 3, and the lower member 5 is common to that used for the vertical frame member 1.
However, the protective cover 13 is different, and has no gap cover shown in FIG. 3A. That is,
This is because there is no need to provide a gap cover protruding from the upper surface 32 of the lower frame member 3, and the locking means attached to the lower frame member 3 is the same as that in the above-described embodiment, and a description thereof will be omitted. The case of the upper frame member 2 is the same as that of the lower frame member 3.

The cover material of the present invention is attached to the front of the sliding door frame, and the cover material attached to the vertical frame material has a gap cover portion, so that when the sliding door is completely closed, the inner surface of the vertical frame material is removed. Is not visible even if a gap is formed between the gaps. And light leakage can be prevented. Then, the cover material is separated into a lower material and a protective cover, the lower material is fixed to the frame material, and the protective cover can be detachably attached to the lower material. Therefore, when the protective cover becomes dirty or scratched, it can be easily reformed by removing it and replacing it with a new protective cover. In addition, if the protective cover is made of plastic, it is harder than wood and is not easily scratched, and the attached dirt is easily wiped off.

[0023] Even if the sliding door frame is already dirty or scratched, the cover material can be attached, and it is possible to cover the scratches and dirt on the front surface and easily remodel the sliding door frame. On the other hand, the back of the frame member is provided with a concave groove into which the opening of the board fits, but if the cover member is attached to both front surfaces, the frame member can be correctly positioned without the concave groove.
