離搬送ローラの回転を前記引き込みローラに伝達する伝
達手段と、前記引き込みローラの回転軸及び前記分離搬
送ローラの回転軸に回動自在に軸着され、前記引き込み
ローラを昇降させる保持部材と、前記保持部材に連結さ
れ、前記保持部材を回動させる駆動レバーと、前記駆動
レバーを揺動する昇降機構と、前記分離搬送ローラに対
して近接配置され、前記分離搬送ローラと逆方向に回転
する多重搬送防止ローラとを有し、前記引き込みロー
ラ、前記分離搬送ローラ、前記保持部材、及び前記伝達
手段が一体のユニットで形成され、前記ユニットが前記
給紙部に脱着自在に装着される記録媒体搬送装置であっ
て、前記保持部材の前記引き込みローラが連結される側
と反対側の端部に形設され前記給紙部の上壁面の内側に
接触する突起部と、前記給紙部の上壁面の一部に穿孔さ
