Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for rapid cooling of canned drink which cools down the canned drink to a temperature suitable for drinking, in about 1 minute, in such a case that the drink is left uncooled in home or wanted to be cooled in a short time for reception of a sudden visitor. SOLUTION: A rotating drive shaft fitted with a suction cup is passed through a hole opened in one side of a box and the suction cup is made to fit by suction on the bottom of a drink can in the box. Ice being put in around the can, the rotating drive shaft is rotated and the canned drink is cooled down rapidly by the action of heat exchange between the canned drink and the ice.
