【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 エアバッグの膨張に伴って前記エアバッ
グにより開かれるリッド部を、カバーに一体的に形成し
て、 前記リッド部の裏面に飛散防止部材を取り付け、前記リ
ッド部が開くヒンジ部分の位置において、前記飛散防止
部材から第1受け止め部材を前記カバーの裏面側に延出
し、 前記第1受け止め部材に支持部材を支持させて、前記支
持部材に前記エアバッグと、前記エアバッグを膨張させ
て展開させるインフレータと、車体の固定部に連結する
為の連結部とを備えると共に、 前記エアバッグの横側方の位置において前記第1受け止
め部材とは異なる位置の第2受け止め部材を、前記カバ
ーの裏面又は前記支持部材に備えて、 前記エアバッグが膨張して展開する際に、前記第1及び
第2受け止め部材に前記エアバッグが受け止められなが
ら、前記エアバッグが前記リッド部及び飛散防止部材を
前記ヒンジ部分で開き、膨張して展開するように構成し
てあるエアバッグ装置の支持構造。
