As described above, since the outer surface of the body just below the edge of the body of the paper cup main body and the outer surface of the curl portion in the paper cylinder are bonded and fixed via the heat seal varnish, special drying is performed. No process is required, the work efficiency is good, and the adhesive does not protrude from the bonded part. Further, since the coated ball layer or the printed display layer printed thereon and the polyolefin resin film do not directly adhere to each other, stable adhesion can be achieved even with the coated ball layer or the printed display layer.

While the surrounding polyolefin resin film just below the edge of the body of the paper cup body is being melted, the paper cup body is fitted into the paper cylinder from the bottom, and the inside of the paper cylinder is removed. The inner surface of the curled portion (21) is fixed in contact with a polyolefin resin film melted by applying a heat seal varnish just below the edge of the paper cup body, and the inner surface of the inner curled portion of the paper cylinder and the inner surface of the paper cup body. The melted polyolefin-based resin film of the body is bonded and fixed via a heat seal varnish layer (5) (see FIG. 2). Similarly, in bonding the paper cylinder and the bottom of the paper cup body, the polyolefin resin film may be melted and bonded and fixed using hot air. At this time, the heat seal varnish layer may or may not be provided. This forms a heat insulating space layer (30) between the body (11) of the paper cup body and the paper cylinder (20).

A total of eight types of paper heat-insulating cups manufactured in this way, including three types of the examples and five types of the comparative examples, a body outer surface immediately below an edge of a body part of a paper cup body and a curl portion in a paper cylinder. Was observed and evaluated by the following method. Table 1 shows the results. Evaluation method of the adhesiveness between the body of the paper cup body and the curled portion of the paper cylinder; breaking the completed paper heat insulating cup and visually checking how much the body and the inner curl are adhered on the circumference Verification. ;: The contact portion between the body portion of the paper cup body and the curl portion in the paper cylinder is completely bonded (all portions are completely bonded in the circumferential direction). Δ: There is a part that is not adhered to the contact part between the body part of the paper cup body and the curl part in the paper cylinder. X: The contact portion between the body of the paper cup body and the curl portion in the paper cylinder is not bonded at all.

From the results shown in Table 1, it was found that a polyolefin-processed paper having a polyolefin resin film coated on both front and back surfaces was used for the body member forming the body portion of the paper cup body, and the contact surface of the body portion of the paper cup body with the inner curl portion was used. By heating and melting the polyolefin-based resin film, and forming a heat seal varnish layer on both or one of the paper cup body and the inner curl of the paper cylinder, the body of the paper cup body and the paper cylinder are formed. It can be seen that a paper heat-insulating cup in which the inner curl portion of the body is completely adhered can be produced (Examples 1 to 3).

As described above, according to the present invention, the adhesiveness between the paper cup body and the paper cylinder is improved, and the lateral pushing strength (lip strength) of the cup is increased. Further, the strength can be maintained even if low basis weight paper is used. Even if there is a coat layer on the surface of the paper cylinder, it adheres well to the paper cup body,
Cosmetic printing becomes possible. The production speed is improved as compared with the case where a conventional emulsion type adhesive is used.
