2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when printing is performed on a shrinkable film, for example, a nylon film using oil-based gravure ink, dimensional stability is lacked due to the hygroscopicity of nylon itself, and furthermore, due to the drying heat of the printing press. Since pitch failure and curling occur, it is necessary to control the humidity of the printing environment together with the film. For this reason, there is a problem that it is costly to control the humidity of the film and the printing environment, and it is still impossible to completely remove defective pitch and curl.

The method of printing directly on a shrinkable film using water-based gravure ink, because the bad heat that the drying heat of the printing press is higher than that of the oil-based gravure ink overlaps, and the above-mentioned pitch failure and curl are further promoted. Has not been put to practical use.

However, printing using water-based gravure ink is expected to become the mainstream in the future due to problems such as labor working environment and air pollution caused by using oil-based gravure ink. For this purpose, there is an urgent need to develop a printing technique that uses a water-based gravure ink even for a shrinkable film.

The shrinkable film is a film that expands and contracts depending on the environment such as humidity and temperature. A typical example is a nylon film. When printing with a water-based gravure ink on such a shrinkable film, a water-based gravure ink is directly applied to the shrinkable film after pasting, for example, a polyethylene, polypropylene, aluminum foil film or the like that does not shrink under humidity or temperature. Print using At this time, there is no change in the printing press. In addition, the printing environment may be the same conditions as when using the conventional oil-based gravure ink, and it is rather unnecessary to pay attention to the environment as compared with the conventional conditions. The printing method of the present invention performed in this manner can be applied not only to a case using an aqueous gravure ink but also to a case using an oil-based gravure ink.

As described above, according to the present invention, when printing is performed using a gravure ink on a shrinkable film, printing is performed after a non-shrinkable film is bonded to the shrinkable film. As a result, even if printing is performed using water-based or oil-based gravure ink while setting the printing environment as before, there is no occurrence of pitch failure and curling, and particularly, high quality printed matter using the water-based gravure ink is obtained. Obtainable.
