Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag type body lifter for nursing care, which lightens the burdens of a patient and a person who looks after the patient as much as possible when the body of the bed-ridden patient is wiped, or a diaper is changed, or the hair is washed; and also, which helps the prevention of bedsore when being used. SOLUTION: By expanding an air bag at an optional location wherein a space is formed, the person who looks after the patient can place her hand (holding a towel) or a required item under the body of the patient without lifting the body of the patient by her own force of the person who looks after the patient.
