Claims (4)

A microcomputer incorporating a random access memory;
A program memory arranged outside the microcomputer and storing an access program for accessing information from the disk;
Circuit means for processing access information to the disk;
A cache memory connected to the circuit means and capable of storing a part of the access information,
A disk drive device capable of accessing the disk according to a command issued from a host system,
The microcomputer receives a command from the host system, the information stored in the random access memory is saved in the cache memory,
The access program in the program memory is expanded in the random access memory,
A disk drive device capable of executing the access program developed in the random access memory.   The access program includes a plurality of processing programs corresponding to the commands issued by the host system.

The disk drive device according to claim 1, wherein when a command from the host system is received, a processing program corresponding to the received command among the plurality of processing programs is expanded in the random access memory. .   When the microcomputer receives the command, it determines whether the corresponding processing program is expanded in the random access memory,
  3. The disk drive device according to claim 2, wherein when it has already been expanded, the process of saving the storage information of the random access memory in the cache memory is not started.   When the microcomputer receives the command, the microcomputer is a read command for the disk.
