2. Description of the Related Art In animal husbandry, antibiotics and biocides are used to prevent diarrhea and maintain health of livestock, but the antibacterial spectrum of the antibiotic used is not appropriate. In some cases the effect is insufficient. Further, with respect to prevention and treatment by drug administration, there is a demand for a method of preventing the drug without using a drug due to the problem of resistant bacteria to commonly used drugs and the problem of drug residue in livestock products.

[0003] On the other hand, there are various types of probiotic agents, but only one to several types of strains usually constitute one probiotic agent. There is a limit to improvement and it cannot be widely supported. Furthermore, in the case of severe diarrhea during the piglet period, it may be difficult to improve only by treatment with drug administration and proper breeding management, and productivity is significantly reduced.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have found that a culture obtained by culturing swine intestinal contents or feces has an intestinal and diarrhea-preventing effect, and furthermore, an intestinal effect. It was found to suppress abnormal fermentation and abnormal growth of pathogenic bacteria. It has been found that the use of the culture of the present invention prevents diseases caused by infection with enteropathogenic bacteria and improves livestock productivity, thereby completing the present invention. Fresh feces from the rectum can be used in combination with intestinal contents.

[0005] That is, generally, in a pig farm, diarrhea and diseases are liable to occur due to various stresses and changes in the intestinal flora. In order to prevent these diarrhea and diseases, it is important to establish a proper and normal intestinal flora at an early stage. The present invention relates to intestinal contents of healthy pigs free of pathogen infection and
A stool is cultured, and the resulting culture is orally administered at the time of weaning or feed change, or at the time of transfer / introduction, thereby providing a culture that suppresses the growth of pathogenic bacteria and enhances livestock productivity.

Industrial Applicability According to the present invention, diarrhea caused by various stresses caused by weaning, feed change, migration and introduction and changes in intestinal microflora, and abnormal growth in the intestinal tract such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella are also caused. Diseases can be prevented. Furthermore, since the present invention uses pig intestinal contents or feces, which have been confirmed to be safe without the incorporation of pathogens, as a raw material, there are no problems with pathogen infection or side effects, and they can be used with confidence, and drugs such as antibiotics can be used. Since it is not used, it is possible to safely increase the productivity of livestock.

Example 1 Preparation of Pig Large Intestine Contents and Confirmation of Safety The mixed contents collected from various parts of the intestinal tract were used as a culture source. As shown in Table 1, 10 g of porcine large intestine content free from pathogens was anaerobically cultured in a 500-fold amount of VL medium at 37 ° C. for 6 hours. The obtained culture was transferred to 5 weanling piglets of each test group for 10 days.
Oral administration was carried out by ml. The control group was orally administered only the medium. Thereafter, the state of health and the state of feces were observed for two weeks. As a result, no abnormality was observed in the piglets, and the safety of the main culture was confirmed (Table 2).

Example 2 Preventive effect of diarrhea caused by stress 20 pigs subjected to stress by reorganizing pigs after one hour of truck transportation were divided into two groups, and After rearrangement, the culture prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 was orally administered in 10 ml portions. Thereafter, the state of feces was observed for two weeks. As a result, loose stool and diarrhea occurred in the control group, but no diarrhea occurred in the test group, and a preventive effect of stress-induced diarrhea was observed (Table 3). Similar effects were obtained when feces were used as a culture source.

Example 3 Confirmation of the effect in the test for artificial infection of swine edema disease 10 ml of the culture prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 was orally administered to 40-day-old pigs (4 test groups, 4 control groups), and To orally infected edema disease-causing bacteria. Thereafter, the health condition and the number of edema disease-causing bacteria in feces were measured over time. As a result, the control group exhibited an edema disease phase, the mortality rate was 50%, and the other pigs showed weakness and rough fur. on the other hand,
The test plot had a survival rate of 100% (Table 4). The weight gain (FIG. 1), weight gain (FIG. 2), and daily weight gain (FIG. 3) were better in the test plot than in the control plot. The number of bacteria causing edema disease in feces was extremely high in the control plot, while it was low in the test plot (FIG. 4). From the above test results,
The preventive effect against edema disease infection was confirmed by orally administering the culture of the present invention.
