2. Description of the Related Art Generally, a filter material for purifying air is a filtration type filter material in which a material such as a nonwoven fabric or filter paper is pleated in a wave shape to increase the surface area through which air passes. As shown in FIG. 14, for example, this type of filter material is manufactured by alternately bending a large-area nonwoven fabric or filter paper in the opposite direction at a constant pitch in the width direction and pleating it into a triangular wave shape.

[0003] In the corrugated filter material 1 shown in Fig. 14, the air purification function is reduced if the corrugated surface has a non-uniform wave pitch p. The product is fixed and fixed by the hot melt method. Alternatively, in the case of a wavy filter material for a special purpose (not shown), a rectangular wooden frame is integrally attached to a peripheral portion thereof with an adhesive or the like, and the shape of the wavy filter material is fixed to the wooden frame as a wooden frame filter device. [0004] The reinforcing material 2 shown in FIG.
Of the filter material 1 is maintained constant, and the overall dimensional shape is stabilized. That is, assuming that the wave direction of the wavy filter material 1 is the horizontal direction, the filter material 1 expands and contracts in the horizontal direction and the shape is not stable. Even if a rectangular frame is tentatively fitted and reinforced on the two straight peripheral portions 1b, the wavy filter material 1 expands and contracts with respect to the frame and comes off the frame, or in the lateral direction of the filter material 1. In this case, the reinforcing member 2 for fixing the wave pitch p is fixed to the open end face of the wavy peripheral portion 1a of the filter material 1 because the wave pitch p of the filter material becomes irregular in magnitude. This type of reinforcing material 2 is a tape or a line that does not expand or contract. In the case of a tape, the reinforcing material 2 closes the opening of the end surface of the wavy peripheral portion 1a of the filter material 1, and suppresses the leakage of air from the opening end surface. Enhance the filtration performance and air purification function of the entire filter material.

The above-mentioned single wave filter material can be easily mass-produced and can be manufactured at low cost. However, it is difficult to secure a reinforcing member or a wooden frame for stabilizing the shape of the wave filter material. The workability is poor, and it is difficult to reduce the manufacturing and assembling cost of the filter device using the wavy filter material. Further, the number of parts of the air cleaning filter material alone increases due to the reinforcing material, and the material cost increases accordingly. In particular, those using a wooden frame filter material are thick and bulky, which increases transportation costs, and has many problems in terms of temperature control of an adhesive with a wooden frame at the time of disposal and recycling of the filter material. It is a waste, and there is a problem that processing costs such as disposal are high.

Further, when the corrugated filter material becomes dirty, it is washed and regenerated, or discarded and replaced with a new one.
In the case of cleaning and regeneration, it is difficult to perform effective cleaning due to the complicated shape of the corrugated filter material, and there is a problem that the size of the regenerating apparatus is increased due to the complicated and bulky shape of the regeneration after cleaning. Further, when the dirty corrugated filter material is discarded and replaced with a new one, the following problems arise. The new filter material to be replaced is stored in a filter manufacturing factory, etc., shipped out of the factory and sold over the counter. However, such replacement filter material is obtained by fixing the wave pitch of the wavy filter material with a reinforcing material. Because the entire size is adjusted to the standard frame size to be reused, the filter material for replacement can be reduced to a smaller size than the standard frame size, stored, transported, and sold over the counter. It is difficult, and it is difficult to reduce the space for storing filter materials for replacement, the space for over-the-counter sales, and the reduction in transportation costs.

The filter device for air cleaning according to the first embodiment shown in the exploded view of FIG. 1 includes a filter member 3 having a rectangular wave shape and a rectangular peripheral portion of the filter member 3.
A first detachably fitted from both the front and back sides of this peripheral portion.
It is composed of a frame 4 and a second frame 5. Filter material 3
For example, it is manufactured by alternately bending a material such as a long piece of nonwoven fabric or filter paper in the opposite direction at a constant pitch, pleating the material into a triangular wave shape, and cutting the material into a predetermined length. The peripheral edge of the rectangular filter material 3 is formed by two opposite sides of a wavy peripheral edge 3a in which valleys m and peaks n are alternately continued, and a straight peripheral edge 3b of the remaining two opposite sides. Desirably, the material of the filter material 3 is excellent in pleating workability, and is excellent in heat workability, in which the shape is not easily changed during washing, and excellent in heat resistance.
Further, the wave pitch p (the interval between adjacent peaks or the interval between adjacent valleys) of the filter material 3 before the pair of frames 4 and 5 are fitted is arbitrary, and the filter material 3 It can be extended or compressed in the plate direction.

For example, as shown in FIG. 3, when the peripheral portion of the corrugated filter material 3 is fitted to the second frame 5, the whole is substantially horizontal and the second frame 5 is moved in the wave direction of the corrugated filter material 3. By vibrating manually in a certain lateral direction, the entire wave pitch p of the filter material 3 is made uniform. At this time, the filter material 3 vibrates right and left in the wave direction while the corrugated peripheral portions 3a of the two opposing sides are almost freely held on the surface frame portion 5′a of the second frame 5, and the corrugated plate The wave pitch p is equalized by the elastic restoring force. Next, the first frame 4 is covered from directly above the substantially horizontal second frame 5, the two frames 4, 5 are united, and both are detachably engaged as they are.

The side frame 4 "b of the first frame 4 is inserted so as to overlap the outer surface of the side frame 5" b of the second frame 5 on which the filter material 3 is fitted as described above. Thus, the first frame 4 can be easily fitted to the second frame 5 without being disturbed by the straight peripheral portion 3b of the filter material 3. The side frame 4 ″ a of the first frame 4 is fitted between the side frame 5 ″ a of the second frame 5 to which the filter material 3 is fitted and the end face of the wavy peripheral portion 3a of the filter material 3. By inserting the filter material 3, the side frame 4 ″ a of the first frame 4 directly closes the opening end face of the wavy peripheral portion 3 a of the filter material 3, and suppresses the leakage of air from the opening of the end face to prevent the filter material 3. To make the air purification function stable and good.

Here, as shown by the dimension drawing line in FIG. 1, the distance between the two side frame portions 5 "a of the second frame 4 opposite to each other is L.
And D is the length of the filter material 3 in the direction of the wavy line.
It is desirable to restrict L in the range of D to (D-0.5 mm). The side frame portion 4 "a of the first frame member 4 is located between the side frame portion 5" a of the second frame member 5 in which the filter material 3 is fitted by the size restriction and the end surface of the wavy peripheral portion 3a of the filter material member 3. Can be reliably inserted with good workability, and the side frame portion 4 ″ a of the first frame member 4 hermetically closes the opening end surface of the wavy peripheral portion 3a of the filter material 3, and air leaks from this end surface opening. Is effectively suppressed, and the air purifying function of the filter material 3 is made more stable and good.If L> D, the wavy shape of the side frame portion 4 ″ a of the first frame 4 and the filter material 3 is obtained. A gap is formed between the end faces, the amount of air leakage increases, and the air purification function of the filter material 3 decreases. If L <(D−0.5 mm), the side frame portion 4 ″ a is caught on the wavy peripheral portion 3a of the filter material 3 when the first frame 4 is inserted into the filter material 3, and the first frame 4 The work of assembling the body 4 to the second frame 5 becomes difficult.

In the air purifying filter apparatus shown in FIG. 2, when the filter material 3 is contaminated by dust or the like and the air purifying function is deteriorated, the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 are separated and the filter material 3 is separated. Removed and only the dirty filter material 3 is discarded or washed and recycled as described below.
Each of the pair of frames 4, 5 is reused for a new or recycled filter material. A new replacement filter material is, for example, a corrugated filter material 3 'shown in FIG. Since the replacement filter material 3 ′ is expandable and contractible in the width direction of the uneven wave, it can be reduced in the width direction, stored in a state of a minimum size and a minimum volume, transported, and sold over the counter. This is desirable in terms of reducing the space for storing replacement products and the space for over-the-counter sales, and reducing transportation costs.
