【請求項２】 外部寄生虫駆除剤全量に対する有効成分含有量が０．１〜７０重量％である請求項１に記載の外部寄生虫駆除剤。
【請求項３】 昆虫成長制御剤がメトプレンまたはピリプロキシフェンである請求項１または２に記載の外部寄生虫駆除剤。
【請求項４】 昆虫成長制御剤がピリプロキシフェンである請求項１または２に記載の外部寄生虫駆除剤。
【請求項５】 外部寄生虫駆除剤全量に対するピリプロキシフェンの含有量が０．０５〜５重量％である請求項４に記載の外部寄生虫駆除剤。
【請求項６】 展着成分として植物油またはその精製物を、外部寄生虫駆除剤全量に対して５〜５０重量％含有する請求項１乃至５いずれか一項に記載の外部寄生虫駆除剤。
【請求項７】 請求項１乃至６いずれか一項に記載の外部寄生虫駆除剤の有効量を、動物の体表面に処理することを特徴とする外部寄生虫の駆除方法。
【請求項８】 動物がイヌまたはネコである請求項７に記載の駆除方法。
【請求項９】 外部寄生虫がノミまたはダニである請求項７または８に記載の駆除方法。
[Claims]
1. A liquid ectoparasiticide for treating the surface of an animal body, comprising 2- (4-ethoxyphenyl) -2-methylpropyl 3-phenoxybenzyl ether and an insect growth regulator as active ingredients.
2. The ectoparasiticide according to claim 1, wherein the active ingredient content is 0.1 to 70% by weight based on the total amount of the ectoparasiticide.
3. The ectoparasiticide according to claim 1, wherein the insect growth regulator is methoprene or pyriproxyfen.
4. The ectoparasiticide according to claim 1, wherein the insect growth regulator is pyriproxyfen.
5. The ectoparasiticide according to claim 4, wherein the content of pyriproxyfen is 0.05 to 5% by weight based on the total amount of the ectoparasiticide.
6. The ectoparasiticide according to any one of claims 1 to 5, comprising 5 to 50% by weight of vegetable oil or a purified product thereof as a spreading component based on the total amount of the ectoparasiticide.
7. A method for controlling ectoparasites, comprising applying an effective amount of the ectoparasite control agent according to any one of claims 1 to 6 to the body surface of an animal.
8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the animal is a dog or a cat.
9. The method according to claim 7, wherein the ectoparasite is a flea or a tick.
