[0003] The rewinding process by this automatic winder is as follows.
This is a process of applying a tension to the spun yarn unwound from the yarn supplying bobbin and guiding the spun yarn with a number of yarn guides to form a package. Therefore, each time a spun yarn in which fibers such as short fibers are twisted passes through a tensor or a yarn guide, friction occurs, and the fluff present in the spun yarn of the yarn supplying bobbin before winding tends to increase after rewinding. .

[0004] Therefore, in the rewinding process in the conventional automatic winder, a fluff binding device is provided in the traveling path of the spun yarn to suppress the generation of fluff. This fluff binding device injects gas such as air into a yarn passage through which a spun yarn passes to generate a swirling flow, and balloons the spun yarn, so that the fluff is entangled with the fiber and wound, or untwisted and untwisted. The fluff binding treatment is performed by shaking off unnecessary fibers that do not contribute to the composition of the yarn due to ballooning at the time.

As a result of various experiments conducted by the present inventors, the reason why fluff binding is not sufficient simply by ballooning the spun yarn is that the twist given to the spun yarn accompanying the ballooning is caused by the upstream and downstream of the yarn passage. It turned out to be to the side. If the untwisting and false twisting of the spun yarn is performed in a short section, the fluff is entangled with the fiber and entangled,
Alternatively, it has been found that the untwisting or ballooning at the time of untwisting effectively removes unnecessary fibers that do not contribute to the composition of the yarn. Therefore, the twist stopping means for substantially stopping the twist given to the spun yarn by the swirling flow from propagating to at least one of the upstream side and the downstream side of the yarn passage effectively functions for fluff binding. . Preferably, the twist stopping means is provided on both the upstream side and the downstream side of the yarn passage. Here, substantially stopping twisting stops most of the propagation of twist applied to the spun yarn by the swirling flow, and false twisting by untwisting and additional twisting of the spun yarn occurs between the twist stopping means. To express.

[0010] In order to effectively perform such a fluff binding,
The swirling flow is formed in a direction in which twist is added to the spun yarn on the outlet side of the yarn passage. This is because, when the spun yarn is unwound by untwisting the unnecessary fibers and then the fluff is wound in by twisting, the fluff binding effect is higher than by untwisting after twisting. In this case, it is preferable to provide a twist preventing means at least on the outlet side of the yarn passage. Further, in order to cause stable ballooning of the spun yarn and to ensure that twisting is performed by the swirling flow, the twist stopping means is provided so that the spun yarn passes through the yarn passage at the entrance and the exit of the yarn passage. What holds the spun yarn so as to be located at the center of the circular cross section is preferable.

Further, in order to stop twisting without generating excessive tension on the spun yarn, the twist stopping means comprises two guide members provided at an inlet and an outlet of the yarn passage, respectively. It is preferable that the propagation of the twist is substantially stopped by two guide members. Such a twist preventing means is disposed on the side near the entrance and the exit of the yarn passage, respectively, and a first guide member for positioning the spun yarn at substantially the center of a circular cross section of the yarn passage, and a yarn guide of the yarn passage. A second guide member is provided on the side distant from the entrance and the exit, and bends the spun yarn positioned by the first guide from the center. Also,
To ensure that the spun yarn enters and exits the yarn passage, the yarn passage has an opening through which the spun yarn is inserted and extends in a direction along a central axis, and the first guide member has Having a recess fixed to a predetermined position and open to the opening side, wherein the second guide member bends the spun yarn and holds the spun yarn in the recess of the first guide;
It is preferable that the first guide be movable between a position where the spun yarn can be introduced into the concave portion and the first guide.

Since the spun yarn Y is held at the center of the yarn passage 17, the ballooning of the spun yarn Y is uniform and stable. With this ballooning, the spun yarn Y is twisted. The spun yarn Y is formed by twisting short fibers or the like, and for example, has a twist in the Z direction as shown in the drawing. The direction of the swirling flow 19 is preferably a direction in which a twisting is formed on the spun yarn Y on the outlet side of the yarn passage and a untwist is formed on the spun yarn Y on the inlet side of the yarn passage. False twisting of the untwisted portion and the additional twisted portion of the spun yarn Y is as follows:
Guide members 25, 26, 2 at the entrance and exit of the yarn passage 17
The guide members 25, 27
Is limited to In the untwisting portion, unnecessary fibers that do not contribute to the configuration of the yarn are shaken off, and in the additional twisting portion, it is assumed that fluff is involved. The fluff binding action of the untwisted portion and the additional twisted portion is caused by the guide members 25 and 2.
This is effectively performed by the twist stopping by 6, 27, 28.

The spun yarn Y formed by the second guide members 26 and 28
When the degree of bending is small, the ballooning of the spun yarn Y is the same,
, And the distinction between the twisted portion and the untwisted portion in the yarn passage 17 becomes unclear. Therefore, the fluff binding action of the untwisted portion and the additional twisted portion becomes insufficient. On the other hand, if the bend is too large, the yarn tension becomes too large, which may cause the yarn to break. First guide members 25 and 27 and second guide members
The degree of twist prevention by the guide members 26 and 28 can be adjusted by the pushing amount of the second guide members 26 and 28 and the like. In FIG. 1, by changing the length of the stopper 31 attached to the lever 29, it is possible to set an appropriate pushing amount to stop the propagation of the twist of the spun yarn Y.

The twist preventing means 12 is provided only on the inlet side of the nozzle means 11 and the twist preventing means 13 on the outlet side is not provided, or the twist preventing means 13 is provided only on the outlet side of the nozzle means 11, The twist applied to the spun yarn Y by the swirling flow 19 propagates over at least one of the inlet and the outlet of the nozzle means 12 even if the twisting means 12 on the side is not provided. Can be stopped. As a result, one of the twisting and the untwisting of the spun yarn Y is performed in a short section, and the fluff is entangled or the unnecessary fibers are shaken off effectively. When the swirling flow 19 is in a direction in which twist is added to the spun yarn Y on the outlet side of the yarn passage 17,
If the twist preventing means 13 is provided on the outlet side of the nozzle means 11, the fluff after the unnecessary fibers are shaken out is effectively taken in. However, it is preferable to provide the twist preventing means 12 and 13 at the inlet and the outlet of the nozzle means 11 because both the entrainment of fluff and the shaking of unnecessary fibers are effective in suppressing fluff.

Further, regarding the direction of the twist applied to the spun yarn Y,
It is also possible to form a twisted portion on the inlet side of the yarn passage 17 and form an untwisted portion on the outlet side of the yarn passage 17. However, it is preferable to form a twisted portion on the outlet side of the yarn passage 17 because the fluff is entangled subsequent to the unnecessary fluttering, so that fluff binding is ensured.

The spun yarn Y can be held at a position eccentric from the center of the yarn passage 17 with respect to the holding position. However, when the spun yarn Y is held in the vicinity (center portion) of the yarn passage 17, the ballooning of the yarn becomes a symmetrical shape with nodes along the central axis and is stabilized.

Various means can be adopted as the means for preventing the spun yarn Y from being twisted. A means for holding the spun yarn Y by abutting two plates, or a gate means for pushing a single plate between the two plates and bending the spun yarn Y in a zigzag shape may be used. However, as shown in FIG. 6, when the twisting means is provided by the two guide members 25, 26 or 27, 28, the generation of the yarn tension on the spun yarn Y is reduced, and the twisting can be stopped. This is advantageous in that generation can be reduced.

In FIG. 7, when the traverse drum 56 of each winding unit 2 is driven to start the rewinding of the spun yarn Y, the spun yarn Y unwound from the yarn supplying bobbin 3 passes through the fluff binding device 10. An effective fluff binding process is performed by the twist preventing means 12 and 13 having the above-described functions. If a defect is found in the spun yarn Y being wound on the package 4, the yarn must be cut and spliced.
At this time, the injection of gas in the fluff binding device 10 is stopped, and the yarn end on the yarn supplying bobbin side is sucked and captured by the suction nozzle 53. Then, the relay pipe 58 is turned to the vicinity of the balloon breaker 51 and the suction nozzle 53 is turned.
The lower thread caught by the above is sucked and guided to the yarn joining device 55. At this time, the tensor 52 of the tensor box 59 and the fluff binding device 10 are in an open state, and the spun yarn Y can take the illustrated yarn traveling path. At the same time, the yarn end on the package 4 side is sucked by the suction mouth 57 and guided to the yarn joining device 55, so that the yarn joining device 55 executes the yarn joining. When the piecing is completed, the respective devices of the tensor box 59 are activated, and winding of the spun yarn Y with the fluff binding process is started.

If the suction nozzle 53 is arranged near the exit of the fluff binding device 10, the fluff binding device 10
It is also possible to collect fluff coming out without scattering. In addition, a waxing device for applying wax to the spun yarn can be provided downstream (upper) of the fluff binding device 10.
If a space for disposing the fluff binding device 10 cannot be secured by providing the waxing device, the fluff binding device 10 can be disposed upstream (downward) of the tensor 52. However, it is preferable to provide the fluff binding device 10 on the downstream side of the tensor 25 because fluff generated by the tensor 52 can be suppressed.

In addition to the compressed air, humidified air containing steam or water droplets can be used as the gas for generating the swirling flow for twisting the spun yarn Y in which the short fibers are twisted. When steam is used, the spun yarn Y passing through the yarn passage 17 and the inner periphery of the yarn passage 17 can be heated.
The heat setting can be performed in a state similar to ironing by contact with the inner periphery and maintaining a form with less fluff. Also,
The fluff of the spun yarn Y can be softened by exposing it to humidified air or steam. As a result, the spun yarn Y twisted in the yarn passage 17 can be effectively entangled with the fibers by the fluff softened by false twisting by untwisting and twirling, and can be wound. Further, dry heated air may be used as the gas that causes the swirling flow.

The fluff binding apparatus and the automatic winder of the present invention have the following effects by having the above-described configuration. The twist-stopping means substantially prevents the twist given to the spun yarn by the swirling flow from propagating to the upstream side and the downstream side of the yarn passage. Is performed in a short section. As a result, the fluff is entangled with the fiber and wound up, or unnecessary fibers that do not contribute to the composition of the yarn due to untwisting or ballooning at the time of untwisting are effectively shaken off, and the fluff generated in the rewinding process of the spun yarn. Can be suppressed.
