When a metal mesh plate is given a form, that is, when a metal mesh plate is formed, a spatula is used, for example. If a sword-shaped spatula having a long and flat sword shape is used, fine grooves and ridges can be provided on the mesh plate. Also, if a spherical spatula having a spherical tip is used, corrugated unevenness or curved warpage can be imparted to the mesh plate.
