For example, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-140568, there is a fuel composition in which a modified gasoline (treat naphtha, gasoline, toluene), butanol, a rust preventive, and a pigment are mixed with methyl alcohol. .
When this fuel composition is used as a fuel for an internal combustion engine for gasoline, the fuel composition is higher than when only gasoline is used.
O is suppressed to about 11% and HC is suppressed to 40% or less.

When acetone is added to alcohol fuel,
The easy solubility of acetone gives the unique scavenging effect of the combustion carbon scavenging system for a two-stroke engine and enhances the lubrication effect on the piston. Further, it has the effect of increasing the compression pressure during the stroke of the two-stroke engine and increasing the explosive power during the addition due to the flammability of acetone. In addition, since the fuel is agitated to lower the viscosity of the fuel and increase the fluidity, the fuel is smoothly supplied to the cylinder of the internal combustion engine, and the natural intake system has a function of giving a high output to the internal combustion engine.

Test Example With respect to the fuel composition of this example, a motorboat for boat racing equipped with a single and two-cylinder two-cycle engine was idling, and the contents of CO and HC in the exhaust gas were measured. As a test object (motor boat), a hydroboat with a total displacement of 400 cc, a cooling system of a water-cooled system, and a motor type of Yamato 302 was used, and a 5-day running test was conducted in an environment with an average temperature of 25.6 ° C for 5 days. And the average was determined. As the mixed oil, marine biorub (trade name of Castrol Co., Ltd.) was used, and a device for preventing emission of carbon monoxide or the like was not mounted on the boat. Each concentration of exhaust gas CO and HC is MEX manufactured by HORIBA, Ltd.
It measured using each of A201F type and MEXA221F type, and calculated | required content rate (%). For comparison, a boat using gasoline fuel was run under the same conditions using the same specimen as above, and the CO and HC contents in the exhaust gas were measured. As a result, as shown in Table 2 below, the engine speed per minute during idling was 1060 to 111
At a stable value of 0 RPM, it increased by about 8% as compared with the case of using gasoline fuel, and it was experimentally found that the output of the prime mover was improved. Also, the content of CO and HC is significantly reduced,
Especially for CO, it was a good result of 0%.

The above test results show that acetone has the properties of easy solubility in alcohol, water and the like and a refractive index (1.
It is considered that the synergistic effect of 3591) lowers the viscosity of the fuel composition, and the fuel is smoothly supplied to the prime mover. For this reason, a racing motorboat that requires many special changes in direction such as a boat race and artificially requires a boat to have a special inclination angle has the effect of reducing intake mistakes and improving the time leg.
