After the wound yarn package form grips the starting yarn on the yarn gripping portion, the tail bunch 3 is formed, and the tail yarn 1 wound until the tail bunch 3 is engaged with the regular traverse region is formed. In the tail yarn joining operation, the tail bunch is removed by hand and the tail yarn 1 is pulled out to join the yarns. Further, in a package in which the tail bunch 3 is removed in advance and the yarn end is fixed with a tape, the tail tape is peeled off, the yarn is pulled out, and the yarn is connected. Further, in the yarn package shown in FIG. 3 wound by the winding method described in Japanese Patent Application No. 10-251598, the shape of the wound yarn package is such that the yarn grip extending circumferentially on the end surface of the paper tube is provided. A tail yarn 1 wound from the gripped point to the engagement with the normal traverse area without forming the tail bunch 3 from the gripped point, and a yarn wound in the normal traverse area The tail yarn 1 protruding from the yarn gripping portion toward the normal traverse region is drawn out and spliced by hand. However, it is not possible to remove the tail bunch 3 by hand and pull out the tail thread 1 or to manually pull out the tail thread 1 that is in direct contact with the paper tube from the thread gripping portion toward the regular traverse area and connect the thread. There has been a problem that the work efficiency is very poor and difficult, and a work load is caused.

In the package formed from the tail yarn wound on the regular traverse region and the tail yarn wound on the tail yarn, the tail yarn can be easily pulled out by cutting the tail yarn using the blade surface. . Also, in the tail yarn heading toward the regular traverse region without forming a tail bunch from the yarn gripping portion,
By cutting using the blade surface, the tail yarn can be easily pulled out and spliced. As a secondary effect, it is possible to recycle the paper tube by cutting the paper tube without damaging it.

Nylon 6 yarn with a 100 cm tail yarn wound on the surface of the paper tube by gripping the starting yarn in a slit groove for yarn grip extending in the circumferential direction at the end of the paper tube and forming a yarn layer portion from there. For each of the 40 packages, we asked 20 men and women, each of whom is connecting the tail, to perform the tail thread cutting work. The safety was good (〇 or ×) or the workability was good (〇 or ×). Whether there is a paper tube scratch (visual) (3)
Answers were obtained for two evaluation items. The method of cutting the tail yarn was performed using the blade surface 4 of the commercially available cutter shown in FIG. 4 (Example 1), and the method performed using the blade surface 5 of the commercially available thread cutting scissor shown in FIG. Instead, only one blade is used in the manner of using a cutter) (Example 2), and another blade surface is formed on the side opposite to the blade surface of the threaded scissors rubbing portion shown in FIG. What was done with blade surface 6
(Example 3) was evaluated. Table 1 shows the results.
