Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for attaching a disposer capable of satisfactorily reducing vibration and noise of a sink by damping the vibration generated at the disposer to reduce vibration transmission to the sink. SOLUTION: The disposer is vertically installed at the bottom 12 of the sink while interposing a sink flange 16 and a buffer member 20. The member 20 is made into a cylindrical shape and made to have elasticity so that the upper edge of a hopper 4 of the disposer is installed in an installing part 20a of the lower edge of the member 20. A stepped part 21 is formed over the whole periphery at the intermediate part of the member 20 to absorb the vibration to be transmitted from the disposer by the stepped part 21.

[0004] Next, the motor 1 is started while the faucet 14 of the water supply is opened and water is flowing, and the rotating plate 6 is rotated. Then, the hammers or rotary blades 7, 8 rotate together with the rotary plate 6, and the tips of the hammers 7, 8 are fixed to the fixed blade 3 by centrifugal force.
In a state of being opposed to the inner surface. The thrown garbage is pressed against the fixed blade 3 by centrifugal force caused by the rotating motion of the rotating plate 6, the hammer or the rotating blades 7, 8. And the kitchen waste
The portion that is in contact with the fixed blade 3 is stopped by the groove 9, and the portion that is not in contact with the fixed blade 3 is rotated by the hammer or the rotary blades 7 and 8, so that the garbage is sheared and finely crushed. At this time, the disposer generates vibrations, and the vibrations are transmitted to the buffer member 17 but transmitted to the sink with almost no attenuation, and the sink vibrates to generate noise.

Embodiment 1 FIG. 1 is a side sectional view of a disposer according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention. 1, the same elements as those of the conventional disposer shown in FIG. 5 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof will be omitted. The disposer is attached to the sink bottom 12 via a sink flange 16 and a cylindrical cushioning member 20. The buffer member 20 is made of an elastic material such as rubber. Hopper 4
The upper end of the buffer member 20 is mounted on the mounting portion 20a at the lower end of the buffer member 20.
6, the disposer is suspended from the bottom 12 of the sink. The length of the buffer member 20 in the vertical direction is longer than that of the conventional buffer member 17, a step portion 21 is formed in the middle portion over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction, and the bottom of the sink flange 16 and the upper end of the hopper 4 are formed. A free bendable portion 22 is secured between the portions. This step 2
1 and the free bending portion 22 ensure that the disposer has a high degree of freedom in bending in the vertical and horizontal directions.

The operation of the disposer configured as described above will be described below. First, garbage is thrown in from the slot 10 of the disposer. Next, tap 1
The motor 1 is started while opening 4 and flowing water, and the rotating plate 6 is brought into a rotating state. Then, the hammers or the rotary blades 7 and 8 rotate together with the rotary plate 6, and the tips of the hammers 7 and 8 face the inner surface of the fixed blade 3 due to centrifugal force. The thrown garbage is pressed against the fixed blade 3 by centrifugal force caused by the rotating motion of the rotating plate 6, the hammer or the rotating blades 7, 8. The portion of the garbage that is in contact with the fixed blade 3 is stopped by the groove 9, and the portion that is not in contact with the fixed blade 3 is rotated by the hammer or the rotary blades 7, 8. At this time, the disposer generates vibration, and the vibration is transmitted to the buffer member 20. Since the buffer member 20 is provided with the step portion 21 and the free bending portion 22 over the entire circumference, the buffer member 20 itself is easily contracted up and down, and is easily bent, so that both the vertical and horizontal swing of the disposer can be absorbed.
