Welding joint of two structural parts
The present invention relates to two structural parts in which part of the facing surfaces overlaps.
The present invention relates to an apparatus for welding and joining with a laser beam.
When joining two structural parts by welding, lap welding is used in addition to so-called butt welding.
It is known to use Surfaces where the structural parts to be connected to each other face each other
It is particularly suitable to employ laser welding for lap welding which overlaps with a part of the lap welding.
Only a small amount of heat is applied by the laser beam with the high welding speed.
A large welding depth along with the high welding quality
It is. In the case of lap welding, they are joined together for technical and economic reasons.
Structural components are generally joined by a number of spot welds spaced from each other
.
An apparatus for spot welding with a laser beam is described, for example, in EP 044000.
No. 2 is known. In the case of this known device, the laser welding head is articulated.
It is located at the free end of the robot arm. With such a robot arm, melting
The contact head is guided freely over the surface of the structural component to be joined and is predefined for spot welding.
Can be detained in a designated location. For this purpose the welding head is a robot arm
Through a fastening element that presses both structural parts together firmly at their overlap
Is positioned. This fixing element has two clamping clamping elements, the
One has a central hole. The laser welding head is positioned through this central hole.
Is fixed. This allows the structural components to be pressed together as tightly as possible
Spot welding can be performed at the overlapped portion where it is overlapped. Such a large number of spot melting
In order to secure the bond strength by welding, the laser welding head is
Are sequentially moved to a number of clamping elements which are spaced from one another.
In U.S. Pat. No. 4,654,505, a single arm guided by a robot arm is disclosed.
Instead of one laser welding head, it is located in the clamping device and is generated by laser
A laser beam propagating freely in space is time-sequentially entered by an adjustable mirror.
A plurality of laser welding heads for firing are known.
However, spot welds formed by laser beams are relatively small in diameter and are therefore necessary
A high bond strength can only be ensured by a number of spot welds. This is done with a laser beam.
The operating costs are high enough to cause problems in the economics of spot welding.
German Patent No. 4331827 describes the formation of a bolt connection with a laser beam.
Devices are known which are reinforced by a large number of microwelds formed. Many
A number of micro welds are provided around the bolt head or nut. this
In the case of known devices, laser welding is performed so that multiple micro-welds are generated at the same time.
Two or more partial beams are formed by a beam splitter located in the contact head.
You. By auxiliary rotation of the whole optical device in the laser welding head
Multiple micro welds around bolt joints with a single fixed laser welding head
Contacts can be provided.
JP-A-58-68492 discloses a spot welding apparatus using a laser beam.
ing. With this device, the deflection and focusing optics can be rotated inside the laser welding head
It is arranged to be supported by. This deflection and focusing optic is rotated during the welding process.
Accordingly, the welding point draws a circular line, and the welding strength is increased.
The object of the present invention is to provide two structures in which the parts of the surfaces facing each other overlap.
A laser that can weld parts very economically at high speeds and with high weld strength
An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for welding and joining by a welding method.
According to the invention, this task has the features of claim 1.
Solved by the device. Two parts of the surface facing each other overlap
According to the present invention, an apparatus for welding and joining structural parts of a laser beam with a laser beam is used.
And a device for alternately distributing the laser beam to multiple beam outlets.
Beam splitters, each beam outlet being individually connected via a beam guide device
Optically coupled to the laser welding head, into which the focused
And deflection to guide the focused laser beam to the surface of the structural component on the laser welding head side
An optical element is arranged.
By this measure, the laser welding head does not need to be moved, that is, the structure to be joined.
The laser beam is applied to the structure by the laser welding head, which is fixed to the device that receives the parts.
Forming a linear weld seam by guiding it to the surface of the part
Can be In other words, a number of spatially equivalent to the number of laser welding heads.
Can be formed instead of separate line welding, and the line shape is laser welding
It is predetermined by the movement of the focusing / deflecting optical element in the head. This
This increases the strength of the connection of the structural components and therefore the need to increase the number of welds
Absent.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the welding head is used to focus the laser beam.
A focusing deflecting mirror is provided for this purpose. This allows for the required optical structure in the welding head.
The number of components decreases.
In particular, the focusing deflecting mirror is supported movably linearly. This makes it linear
An extended weld seam is formed.
In another advantageous embodiment of the invention, a lens is provided for focusing the laser beam.
Is provided in front of the lens in the direction of propagation of the laser beam,
A plane parallel plate supported so that it can swing about an axis perpendicular to the central axis
Have been. This forms a weld seam which likewise extends linearly.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, before the lens, the central axis of the laser beam is
A prism rotatably supported as a center is disposed. This way the circle
A linear weld seam in the form of is formed. The diameter of the circle is significantly larger than the line width.
This circle-shaped linear weld seam, defined by
Simulates welds, improves weld quality and provides similar strength values
.
An optical fiber is used as a beam guide between the beam distributor and the laser welding head.
Advantageously, it is provided. This allows the laser beam to propagate freely.
The location of the laser welding head is greatly reduced because the beam guidance is simplified compared to
It can be selected flexibly.
In particular, the laser beam can be swung or moved in the beam path in the beam splitter.
A movable turning mirror is arranged.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the beam of the laser beam in the beam splitter
A turning mirror that can rotate around the central axis of the incident laser beam is placed in the passage
The turning mirror has a number of beams arranged in a star shape around the central axis of the laser beam.
Comes with a room exit. This reduces the number of movable turning mirrors required for beam distribution
Decrease.
