Continuous casting dies and sealing members for continuous casting dies
The present invention relates to a continuous casting die with a vibration casting tube and a fixed type.
The present invention relates to a seal member for sealing an annular gap between the housing member and the housing member. Ma
The present invention also provides a continuous caster with at least one such sealing member.
About Ningdai.
In continuous casting of metal strands, the strands
To prevent the die from sticking to the cooled inner wall of the cooling tube.
Vibration is applied in the direction of casting. Such vibrations on the die
For example, it has a frequency of several hertz and an amplitude greater than 10 mm and its vibration mass (osc
The illating mass reaches several tons. Therefore, in order to vibrate the die,
High energy consumption is required. For this reason, the vibration mass is as small as possible.
It is desirable to maintain.
A conventional vibration device has a vibration table on which a continuous cast is placed.
A tinting die is arranged as a unit. However, the international patent application WO 95 /
03904 has a die with a fixed housing with an integrated vibration lever
It has been disclosed. Casting tube is supported on this die by vibrating lever
And externally fixed by two elastically deformable ring-shaped sealing membranes
It is connected to the housing of the type. In this case, the casting tube
Is set so that it can vibrate along the axis of casting in the housing
ing. A ring-shaped sealing film cools around the casting tube
A ring-shaped pressure chamber for the agent is sealed. In the case of this die, it is vibrated
Dramatically reduced mass of power components, thereby reducing energy consumption
You.
Patent application WO 95/03904 proposes a ring-shaped membrane of metal and elastic material. this
These ring-shaped films are subjected to extremely complicated mechanical stress. First, they are less
When
Must withstand the pressure of the cooling water of 5 atm. This pressure is applied to the ring-shaped membrane.
And acts as a noticeable tensile stress. In addition, these ring-shaped films are used several hundred times per minute.
The vibration stress having the frequency of Longitudinal vibration for casting tube
Forms a peak with a high tensile stress on the ring-shaped film. In addition, the strand
Apply horizontal tension to the Sting tube. This pulling force is ring-shaped
A force that can tension the membrane. Under these complex stress conditions, the ring
It is expected that signs of fatigue will appear relatively quickly on the film-like membrane.
An object of the present invention is to provide a continuous casting die with a vibration casting tube.
Improved seal for sealing an annular gap between a stationary housing member
The flexible member is formed of a flexible material.
The purpose of this is that the seal member has an annular bulge and the seal member is attached.
In the state, the convex side of the bulging portion is configured to be arranged on the pressure side.
Is achieved.
The sealing member of the present invention has a very complicated structure generated in a continuous casting die.
Designs that can absorb mechanical stress more efficiently than conventional flat seal membranes
You. This seal member has a slow sign of fatigue and has a long life. This technical content
Is described below. Casting tube against fixed housing member
When moving in the axial direction, deformation of the seal member occurs. This transformation is basically
This is flattening of the bulging portion. As a result, the sealing member according to the present invention is
Compared to a ring-shaped film, the range of contact is extremely small, and the applied tensile stress is also small
. In addition, the pressure acts on the convex side of the annular bulge of the sealing member, thus
Generates substantially a compressive stress instead of a tensile stress in the sealing member.
The sealing member according to the invention is preferably designed as a ring-shaped sealing membrane.
Have been. This seal membrane is mounted horizontally in a continuous casting die.
Since the swelling portion is formed in the sealing film in the present invention, the casting chip is formed.
When the tube moves in the axial direction, the constituent material of the ring-shaped seal film is radial or
It is not significantly stretched in the circumferential direction. However, according to the invention,
The screw member can also be designed as a tubular connecting piece. This connecting piece is a continuous key.
The casting die is mounted coaxially with the casting axis. But
However, in the embodiment as a tube-shaped connecting piece, the material of the sealing member swells.
In the region of the part, a slight tensile force is applied in the circumferential direction.
The sealing member according to the present invention is preferably formed of an elastic material such as an elastomer or rubber.
Is done. Further, the seal member preferably has a reinforcing layer such as a laminated fiber layer.
In the embodiment as a tubular connecting piece, such a laminated fiber layer is
A discontinuous portion is formed in the direction to allow expansion in the circumferential direction.
The invention also provides a vibration casting tube and a stationary housing member.
Formed between the vibration casting tube and the fixed housing member.
At least one flexibility for sealing a ring-shaped pressure chamber for the coolant
And a sealing member having the same. Flexible
As described above, the sealing member has a bulge in the circumferential direction, and the convex side thereof has a ring shape.
Facing the pressure chamber.
Such a die preferably has vibration means and a support structure, wherein the support structure is vibrated.
The moving means is supported, and the vibration device supports the casting tube. like this
Then, the weight of the casting tube is received by the vibrator,
The material is not further stressed by the weight of the casting tube. Another
It is not necessary that a support member be provided between the housing and the casting tube.
No. A vibration lever is provided in a small vibration device. Vibration lever in support structure
Connected to the casting tube and connected to the casting tube.
I have. The vibration device preferably has a hydraulic cylinder as an actuator
You. In addition, the casting tube is elastic in its housing by a spring member.
May be suspended. In that case, the vibration device does not perform the support function and
It must only be transmitted to the casting tube.
According to the present invention, the seal member according to the present invention is appropriately arranged on a continuous casting die.
We propose some ways to do this.
In a first embodiment, the die has an upper and lower seal according to the invention.
A member is provided. These seals are placed around the casting tube
A ring-shaped pressure chamber for the coolant is formed. This ring shaped pressure chamber
The ring has a ring-shaped upper by an internal sealing device having a ring-shaped elastic sealing film.
And a lower collector as appropriate. Each of these collectors is cooled
It is connected to the agent supply pipe and the coolant return pipe, respectively. Water guide
A bracket is attached around the casting tube, thereby
An annular gap is formed along the ring tube. This annular gap is one
Open to the lower collector on one side and to the upper collector on the other
It is open.
In the second embodiment, the die has a flexible ring-shaped upper and lower part.
A word collector is provided. These collectors are

Around the casting tube 10 by the two sealing members 36 and 38
The casting tube 10 is sealed in the axial direction.
Along the inside of the cooling box 22.
The two sealing members 36, 38 according to the invention are made of a flexible material, preferably
Is made of an elastic material reinforced with laminated fibers. Shi
Each of the roller members 36 and 38 is a ring-shaped film, and the outer edge thereof is a cooling board.

Their inner edges are the casting tube 10 upper and lower flange 18
, 16 respectively.
The seal film 36 will be described as a representative of all the seal films with reference to FIG.
You. The sealing film 36 forms an annular bulging portion 40, and the convex side thereof has a ring-like shape.
Facing the pressure chamber. The seal film is flat on both sides of the bulge 40 in a ring shape.
Parts 42 and 44 are formed, and are connected to the bulging part 40 without gaps. Shi
The wall thickness of the membrane and the reinforcing fibers are appropriately designed and selected, and a ring-shaped pressure
Even after the member is pressurized, the annular bulge 40 has its convex side in the pressure chamber.
It is set so that it can be held face up. There is a casting tube 10
If it were shifted down by an amount + y (in practice, usually about 5 to 10 mm),
(See arrow), the shape of the seal film 36 will be deformed as shown by the broken line.
. As is apparent, the deformation of the sealing film is caused by the flattening of the bulging portion 40, that is, its curvature
Causes a change in radius. The point to note here is that the casting tube 10
When moving in the axial direction, the material of the sealing film 36 is substantially radially or circumferentially.
No significant pulling, and therefore, a significant tensile stress in the seal membrane due to vibration.
There is no force. Furthermore, the pressure in the ring-shaped pressure chamber is
The sealing member 36 acts on the convex side of the annular bulge 40 of the
Generates compressive stress inside. In this way, the pre-added
The applied stress has a clear effect on the vibration load of the sealing member. The reason is,
This stress interacts with the residual tensile stress generated during vibration, and
This is to reduce the level of the peak tensile stress in the constituent material.
As is clear from FIGS. 3 to 5, the inner and outer edges of the seal film 36 have circular cross sections.
A ring-shaped bead 44 is provided. This ring-shaped bead 44
, 44 are in the annular groove of the flange 16 of the casting tube 10 and the cooling box.

are doing.
As shown in FIG. 3, at least one guide member 5 extends along the seal film 36.
0 has been passed. This guide member 50 is castin '
Horizontal force applied to the casting tube 10 from the casting tube 10
The power is transmitted to the support structure 28 via the work frame 24 (see FIG. 1). In FIG.
, The guide member 50 is formed by a cylindrical or spherical swivel joint 51, 52.
And the frame 24. As shown more clearly in FIG.
The hand 52 not only allows the guide member 50 to rotate around the rotation axis O, but also
The guide member 50 can be moved rightward by a certain amount x. In this case,
x ≧ L− (LTwo-YmaxTwo)0.5
L: Length of guide member 50
ymax: maximum amplitude (positive or negative)
In this manner, the guide member 50 is adapted to the vertical vibration of the casting tube 10.
No remarkable resistance is exhibited. In other words, the vibration of the casting tube 10
Generates neither tensile stress nor bending stress in the guide member 50. Horizontal force is
When transmitted from the sting tube 10 to the frame 24, the guide member 50
Acts alone in the direction of arrow 54 and experiences compressive stress. Thus, the guide member 5
0 indicates that the casting tube 10 moves in the direction of arrow 54 in FIG.
To prevent The second gas is disposed on the opposite side of the casting tube 10.
The casting member 10 is indicated by an arrow 54 in the guide member 56 (see FIG. 1).
Prevents movement in the opposite direction. In addition, another guide member,
For example, they can be arranged in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the drawing.
The structure of the swivel joint shown in FIG.
0 except that a slide bush 58 is provided on the
It has the same structure as the joint. FIG. 9 shows another structure of the swivel joint of the guide member 50.
I have. In this configuration, two horizontal journals (bearing Journals) 60
For each of the above, an elastically compressible sleeve 62 made of, for example, rubber is provided.
Installed. Also, each of the journals 60 is
It is fitted into the bearing bore. An elastically compressible sleeve 62 is provided.
Therefore, the guide member 50 ′ is sensitive to vertical vibration of the casting tube 10.
It does not show significant resistance. Unlike the guide member 50 shown in FIGS.
The guide member 50 'shown in FIG. 9 transmits both compressive stress and tensile stress.
Can be. The guide member 50 may be formed as a spring member (for example, a leaf spring).
Both are possible. In this case, one end of the spring member is firmly clamped, and the other end is shown in FIG.
, 8 or 9 are supported. Smell like this
Therefore, bending stress is generated in the spring member due to the vibration of the casting tube 10.
But no compressive stress is generated. Guide member 50 formed as a telescopic rod
However, the pressing action in the axial direction on the telescopic rod is limited by the blocking means.
It is also possible to do so. Good guiding action is achieved by lever 3 at the upper end of the die.
0, but the guide means is connected to the upper flange 18 and the upper
Of course, it is also possible to arrange between the frame 26.
FIG. 10 shows another embodiment of the guide member. This guide member 50 "is radial
Designed as an elastic metal ring-shaped membrane with a wedge-shaped opening 150

The ring-shaped chamber between the casting tube 10 and the cooling box 22 is
It is divided into a par corrector 72 and a lower collector 74. In this case,
The free movement of the casting tube 10 in the cooling box 22 in the axial direction is confirmed.
Is maintained. This sealing means 70 is preferably attached to the casting tube 10.
An outer facing the inner ring plate 76 and the cooling box 22 facing each other.
It is composed of a ring plate 78, and both plates 76, 78 have a flexible ring shape.
Are connected by a seal film 80. This flexible ring-shaped seal
The membrane 80 preferably has an annular bulge. And this bulge is
The convex side of is the collector with the highest internal pressure (in Fig. 1, the lower collector

Is discharged from the die.
The ring-shaped main pipes 120 and 126 each having a spray nozzle are provided in a ring-shaped manner.
They are arranged above and below the seal films 36 and 38. Spray nozzle is ring shaped
Of the seal films 36 and 38 not facing the pressure chamber having the cooling water
Spray on the surface. In this way, a relatively thick and poorly conductive ring-shaped
The inner and outer surfaces of the inner and outer membranes 36, 38 are relatively uniformly cooled.
Premature deterioration of the film is prevented.
FIG. 2 shows four ring-shaped sealing films 100, 102, 104, 1 according to the present invention.
6 shows an embodiment of a die for continuous casting with 06. This example is
It is substantially different from the embodiment shown in FIG. That is, in this embodiment,
, The upper and lower collectors 72 and 74 shown in FIG.
And formed as ring-shaped collectors 72 'and 74'.
, 74 ′ above and below, two pairs of sealing films 100, 102 and 104, 106.
Are arranged respectively. These ring-shaped sealing films 100, 102, 10

Continuous casting die having a sealing member
The present invention relates to a continuous casting die. More specifically, the present invention
Dynamic casting tube, fixed housing member, and vibration casting
A ring pressure for coolant formed between the tube and the stationary housing member
At least one flexible sealing member for sealing the chamber.
The present invention relates to a continuous casting die provided.
In continuous casting of metal strands, the strands
To prevent the die from sticking to the cooled inner wall of the cooling tube.
Vibration is applied in the direction of casting. Such vibrations on the die
For example, it has a frequency of several Hertz and an amplitude greater than 10 mm, and its vibration mass (osc
You.
Patent application WO 95/03904 proposes a ring-shaped membrane of metal and elastic material. this
La
Is subjected to extremely complicated mechanical stress. First, they are at least
An object of the present invention is to provide a vibration casting tube and a fixed housing member.
Formed between the vibration casting tube and the fixed housing member.
At least one flexibility for sealing a ring-shaped pressure chamber for the coolant
A continuous casting die provided with a sealing member having
It is to improve the material.
As a result, the sealing member according to the present invention is
The range of elongation is extremely small and the applied tensile stress is small compared to the ring-shaped film
Further, the die according to the present invention preferably has a vibration means and a support structure,
The supporting structure supports the vibration means, and the vibration device supports the casting tube.
. In this way, the weight of the casting tube is received by the vibrator.
The sealing member is further stressed by the weight of the casting tube
There is no. Another support member is provided between the housing and the casting tube.
Need not be. A vibration lever is provided in a small vibration device. Vibration lever
Jointed to the support structure and jointed to the casting tube
Are linked. The vibration device is preferably a hydraulic series as actuator.
Have a solder. In addition, the casting tube is housed in the housing by a spring member.
Can be resiliently suspended within the ring. In that case, the vibration device does not perform the support function and
It must only transfer energy to the casting tube.
