Fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines
Background art
The invention relates to a fuel injection pump for an internal combustion engine according to the preamble of claim 1.
You.
Such a device is known from DE 24 49 332 A1.
A fuel injection pump of the type has a pump piston, which is
It is driven to rotate simultaneously with reciprocation in the casing hole. In the pump piston
The outlet opening in this case serves as a distribution opening through which the different pressures
The high-pressure fuel is supplied to the power line in sequence. With this known fuel injection pump
Longitudinal groove is arranged on the peripheral surface of the pump piston so that it is located almost opposite the opening
This longitudinal groove is always connected to the fuel supplied to the distribution opening under high pressure
Have been. With such a configuration, it is positioned almost diametrically opposite the distribution opening.
As a result, a pressure load is achieved between the pump piston and the casing hole,
The pump piston is evenly loaded by the pressing force, and in the casing bore
Now avoids the tendency of the piston to bite or get stuck
ing. This additional groove is in line with the pressure or injection conduit not involved in the injection.
Pump pipes, together with the injection conduits which are simultaneously connected and opened simultaneously by the distribution openings
Pressure compensation between these conduits in the ton suction phase is performed.
This known configuration has the following disadvantages. That is, in this known configuration,
Movable despite force compensation or force balance performed at the pump piston
Due to the large area groove on the peripheral surface of the part, the lubricating oil film, ie the pump piston
For holding the movable part, which is the distributor and the distributor, in the casing hole during its rotation
Is interrupted.
Advantages of the invention
The fuel injection pump according to the present invention, which is configured as described in the characterizing part of claim 1,
There are the following advantages over known ones. That is, the fuel injection port according to the present invention
In the pump, the pressure compensation surface according to the invention always closes itself.
Compensation, which is independent of the rotational position of the moving part.
I'm terrified. In this case, it is produced in the area of the pressure compensation surface and
The pressure derived at the adjacent outlet opening from the starting pressure is the first and second leak zone.
The interim dimensions can be adjusted as desired. This configuration also has
There are the following advantages. In other words, in this case, the intermittent fuel high-pressure injection
As a result, when high pressure is generated in the area of the outflow opening,
Based on the deformation of the
The size of the leak section is affected, especially the size of the effective cross section of the leak section,
As a result, the outflow cross section is reduced via the second leak section and the inflow cross section is reduced to the first
Is increased through the leakage section. As a result, the pressure in the region of the pressure compensation surface
, With increasing high pressure. And rise quickly according to the trend.
Pressure in the area of the outlet opening corresponds to the force generated there when the high pressure rises.
High compensating power. The lateral force generated based on the sum of the forces is therefore
It increases as the pressure level of the high pressure source increases. On the other hand, compensation power
Deformation of the movable part and deformation of the casing hole for receiving the movable part
Becomes smaller. These deformations are from a perfectly circular cross section to an elliptical
The cross section is flattened, and the oval cross section is similarly formed in the casing hole.
Is the enlargement of the bore, in which the main axes of the cross sections are perpendicular to one another.
As this deformation decreases, it also reduces lateral shrinkage laterally to the deformation that occurs.
Or only lateral expansion occurs, resulting in a gap between the moving part and the casing bore.
Smaller play is possible in these basic dimensions of each other.
As this play is reduced, the leakage losses that occur through this play are reduced.
The quantitative balance of high pressure injection (Mengenbilanz) is thus improved. And this is
In the same safe driving as before, due to too narrow play
No risk of creating extremely high surface pressures between correspondingly arranged parts
In addition, there is a danger that the moving parts in the casing hole will bite.
In addition, it is done.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second leak section is approximately two times the first leak section.
It has twice the length, so that the high pressure flowing from the pressure compensation surface
An advantageous quantitative balance between the fuel and the fuel flowing back into the relief chamber from this pressure compensation plane is obtained.
It is. Depending on the length of the leak section and the resulting cross section, the
The pressure generated can be adjusted.
In another advantageous refinement of the invention, the solution according to the invention comprises a distribution according to claim 3.
This is realized in a type injection pump.
To position the pressure compensation surface as desired or to add multiple pressure compensation surfaces to the moving part
The pressure compensating surface is advantageously provided in the desired peripheral area of
, As longitudinal grooves or in the longitudinal direction parallel to the axis of the rotating movable part
Formed as an extended flat (Abplattung) or ground surface (Anschliff-Flaeche)
ing. Advantageously, due to the length of this longitudinal groove, the pressure field is in the region of the pressure compensation surface.
And such a pressure compensating surface allows for fabrication and realization.
In a manner that facilitates, between the otherwise existing high pressure guiding or pressure relief grooves
In the area of the movable peripheral surface
Can be opened.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a further groove is provided, which groove is mainly
Works in the area of the peripheral surface which is advantageous for this adjustment for the desired gap length adjustment

Displaced from the normal play 45 between the holes of the
A large gap 47 is created, which facilitates a possible leak spill.
On the side that is diametrically opposed to the distribution groove 12, normal play is significant.
Reduced. In this area, the cross section of the leak section that is possible at the same time
In particular, the cross section of the second leak section 42 is also significantly reduced, so that the increased spacing
Through a first leak section in the region of 47, a relatively large amount of fuel under high pressure
It can flow into the partial ring groove 37 and reach the pressure compensation surface 36. No.
Absent or reduced via the second leak section 42
Based on the spilled spill, there is a large pressure rise, which rises
If there is play with equal geometry around the circumference, usually at play dimensions
Larger than compared. This pressure increase causes a high reaction force acting on the distribution pump piston.
This reaction force is generated by pressure forces in the area of the distribution openings.
Acts against. In this way, the compensation force generated by the pressure compensation surface
Are dynamically adjusted to the respective pressure level. And the distribution pump piston
The normal play between the bore and the axial bore 5 receiving the dispensing pump piston is
It can be kept small compared to the case where the pressure compensation according to the invention is not performed.
This reduces leakage losses in the entire operating flow of the dispensing injection pump,
The result is a higher efficiency of the pump and a higher possibility of generating injection pressure. Sa
In addition, the distribution of power ensures that: I.e. while this can be reduced
In the gap, it is possible to avoid strong contact between the surfaces of the relatively moving parts.
The risk of so-called biting can be suppressed. In this case, the distribution groove 12
A pressure provided with a first leak section leading to a ring section and a second leak section 42 leading to a ring groove 20.
Utilizing significantly larger surface area by arranging the force compensation surface as in the present invention
This surface area allows the dispensing pump piston 6 to be located inside the axial bore 5.
At the end, and additionally with the end face 9 and the ring groove 20.
The leakage loss to the low pressure side is kept small over this large length during this
And dynamic pressure compensation adapted to the pressure course in the pump work chamber.
A more secure structure while maintaining low pressure drop and high operational reliability.
It is.
FIG. 6 shows an alternative pump piston configuration to the configuration shown in FIG.
It is also shown in a development view. Unlike the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the embodiment of FIG.
In this embodiment, two pressure compensation surfaces 36a and 36b are provided instead of one pressure compensation surface.
