前述のバスシステムないし診断方法は有利には、自動車に適用可能である。The present invention relates to a bus system and a method for diagnosing a plurality of subscribers interconnected via a bus system. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a plurality of subscribers interconnected via a single bus and a diagnostic apparatus. A bus system wherein one of the plurality of subscribers is adapted as a master and the other subscriber is adapted as a slave; and one of the plurality of subscribers operates as a master; A method for diagnosing a plurality of subscribers interconnected via a bus system, wherein other subscribers act as slaves. A bus system and a method of this kind are known from the document WO 90/09631. In this known bus system and method, the function of the data bus and / or the function of the subscriber is monitored by means of an error identification signal in the form of a watchdog signal, in which case a predetermined emergency operation scheme is introduced. You. In this case, two different emergency operating modes can be implemented. In this error identification method, a plurality of signals are transmitted and received while being periodically repeated. In this case, the subscribers involved in the bus communication expect an external error identification signal within a predetermined time pattern. However, no detailed error diagnosis is performed at that time. The object of the invention is to provide, in a simple manner, various diagnostic possibilities at the subscriber output in a bus system or method of the type mentioned at the outset. This object is achieved by the invention as set forth in the characterizing parts of claims 1 to 4. Thus, the bus system is configured as follows. That is, only a diagnostic device is provided in the master, and current data and / or voltage data from at least one output of at least one slave to be diagnosed are stored in the diagnostic device, and a program stored in the master is stored in the master. The diagnosis on the output side can be carried out under predetermined or pre-settable conditions. According to the method of the present invention, the diagnostic device has a short-circuit detecting device and an interruption detecting device, one diagnostic operation mode is started for a diagnosis every predetermined time, and the outputs of all the slaves are existing in the master. Are switched in a predetermined state according to the program described above, and the output side to be diagnosed under the predetermined state is successively inquired about a short circuit or interruption, and the diagnosis is performed in the master. By using this means, the subscriber can be diagnosed for various errors with a simple configuration. As a result, information on the type of error is obtained, and an error strategy based on the information can be implemented. The cost for the diagnostic device and the associated cost is only charged once for the master in the entire bus system. For the diagnosis of short-circuits or interruptions, the bus system can switch a plurality of subscribers and their outputs to a predetermined state, in which case the current state of the current at the output to be diagnosed can be detected, and If diagnostics can be performed based on the stored current and / or voltage data and the detected current or voltage condition, then predetermined information regarding whether a short circuit or interruption has been confirmed at the relevant output can be obtained. Can be In this case, the data stored in the diagnostic device allows the degree of short-circuiting or interruption to be determined and to be adapted therefrom to the corresponding error strategy. This diagnostic means can advantageously be implemented with the following arrangement. That is, it can be implemented by a configuration in which the diagnostic device has switchable resistance devices and / or measurement amplifiers. According to the method of the invention, after the start of the diagnostic mode of operation, all the subscribers are executed with the least current consumption, whereby a change in the state of the subscribers other than the output to be diagnosed is avoided, whereby the diagnostics Unique conditions arise for the implementation of the bus system. Therefore, errors can be identified with high reliability. According to another advantageous method, the current measuring area of the diagnostic device provided in the master for the detection of a short circuit is selected as wide as possible or the amplification is selected as low as possible. The output of one slave to be diagnosed is switched on, and if the current exceeds a fixed value for this output, a diagnosis of a short circuit is given. By using this measure, the diagnostic device distinguishes between the actual short-circuits and the high currents that occur there before the risk of damage arises. The measurement area may then be reduced to detect incomplete short circuits. According to a further embodiment, the current measurement area in the master is reduced or the amplification is increased in response to the detection of an interruption, the output to be subsequently diagnosed is cut off, and the set minimum current If the change falls below this level, an interruption will be diagnosed, which will provide adequate sensitivity for the identification of the interruption. In this case, the sensitivity may be increased stepwise to identify different degrees of interruption. According to a further embodiment, the diagnosis of the short-circuit and the diagnosis of the interruption are performed in sequence on all the outputs to be diagnosed one after the other. In this case, the diagnosis of interruption is carried out only if no short-circuit diagnosis has previously been provided on the same output, and the diagnosis is terminated if all outputs to be diagnosed have been examined. This allows a systematic diagnosis of the output side to be tested for short circuits and middle stages. If an error is detected, the following measures are advantageously implemented. That is, when a short circuit is detected in the diagnostic device, an error is registered and a programmed short strategy is performed. When an interrupt is detected in the diagnostic device, an error registration and a programmed interrupt strategy are performed. Drawing FIG. 1 shows a bus system in which a plurality of subscribers are connected. FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing a sequence for diagnosing the bus system. Next, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The bus system shown in FIG. 1 has one bus having a data line D and bus feed lines V + and V-. A single master 1 and slaves 2, 3, and 4 are connected to this bus as subscribers. In the master 1, a diagnostic device 5 for the subscribers 1, 2, 3, 4 is provided. As is clear from FIG. 1, the number n of slaves that can be installed can be selected according to the physical possibility of the bus system. The diagnostic device is symbolically shown as a resistor. In this arrangement, it is assumed that a suitable measuring device is provided together with a suitable resistance device or measuring amplifier. This diagnostic device 5 is configured at the output of some or all slaves for the detection of short circuits and / or interruptions. In contrast, the diagnostic device 5 has a current or voltage measuring device. FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing a sequence for diagnosis. In a step 11 after the start step 10, all the slaves 2, 3 and 4 are connected via a program or protocol with as little current consumption as possible in order to allow as much current resolution as possible. Be executed. Changes in the state of the bus system are prevented under the diagnostic operating mode thus selected. That is, only the respective output to be tested is connected. In this minimal current consumption state, the total bus current consumption is constant, for example in the range of 150 mA to 250 mA. This value is well known in diagnostic devices. Under this predetermined output condition, a diagnosis of a short circuit or interruption of an actuator (for example, a switching output side, a motor winding, etc.) can be performed with high reliability. In order to carry out the short-circuit diagnosis, in step 12, a current measuring area which is as large as possible or an amplification which is as small as possible is selected in the diagnostic device. With the bus information, the master 1 switches on exactly one output of exactly one slave in step 13 and its address is reported to the master 1. If the current exceeds the fixedly set current, a diagnosis of a short circuit is made in step 14. This is because the corresponding normal current on the output side is stored in the diagnostic device 4. For example, if the closed circuit current of the bus is 200 mA and the normal current of the corresponding output side of the stepping motor winding is 250 mA, for example, the set current I Ref can be much larger than the sum of the closed circuit current and the normal current, for example, 800 mA. May be selected. If the value of this current is set stepwise and the current measurement area is stepwise reduced or the amplification degree is expanded stepwise, the degree of short circuit can be determined in detail. If it is determined in step 14 that the current exceeds the set current I Ref , a short-circuit diagnosis is made in step 14.1. Subsequently, in step 14.2, the registration of the error and possibly the appropriate short-circuit strategy are introduced. If, for example, a diagnosis of only a partial short-circuit, rather than a complete short-circuit, is made, the corresponding output of the corresponding slave is driven at a relatively long time interval for a relatively short time and / or is relatively short. It is driven with a small output. If it is determined in step 14 that the current does not exceed the set current I Ref , a plurality of current measurement areas or amplification levels are processed if necessary. As a result, in step 15, the process shifts to the interruption diagnosis on the same output side, and the current measurement area in the diagnostic device 5 is reduced or the amplification degree is increased. The output that was switched on during the short-circuit diagnosis is shut off. If the difference is smaller than the minimum current change ΔI Refmin set in step 16, a diagnosis of interruption is made. Since the minimum current change ΔI Rermin and the normal current under the interrupted normal corresponding input are also known, a current change due to interruption is detected. Also in this case, the current measurement area or the amplification level can be graded to accurately measure the degree of interruption. If an interruption has been diagnosed, that is to say if it has fallen below the minimum set current change ΔI Refmin, after the step 16.1 of diagnosing the interruption, an error is registered in step 16.2 and, depending on the degree of interruption, in step 16.2. The selected desired interruption strategy is implemented. In each case, whether a short circuit or interruption is detected or normal, in step 17, the diagnostic procedure is started anew until all outputs to be tested have been processed. Thereafter, in step 18, the diagnosis ends. The conditions corresponding to the execution of the diagnostic operation mode are, for example, the start of operation of the bus system, before shutting down the bus system, at the time of inspection at a factory or at the time of inspection by a maintenance manager, and the like. In the event of an error in the bus system, a diagnostic mode of operation may be initiated, preferably via a predetermined program. On the basis of the registered errors, it is also possible to detect whether a short-circuit or interruption has occurred continuously or only temporarily in the course of time. The bus system or diagnostic method described above is advantageously applicable to motor vehicles.
