Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a pattern of superior three-dimensional feeling on a surface by coloring the surface in a manner of not completely masking abase having fire uneven emboss but seeing through the base and forming the walls of recessed thicker than those of projections. SOLUTION: For the purpose of forming the color different between recesses and projections, a base color of a base is not completely masked by a film of moderate masking properties, namely the base color can be seen through when a coated material is applied for shadowing recesses and projections by forming the walls of recesses thicker than those of projections. The tone of valley sections 12b is deeper visually, while the tone of crest sections 12a is slightly somber, and the variation is formed step by step all through from the crest sections 12a to the valley sections 12b on an intermediate section to form the continuous variation of the tone. Also a frosted or half-frosted transparent coating material 15 is applied overlappingly on a film 14 of a colored transparent coating material to provide the soft and quiet feeling and attractive look to match the outer appearance. Thus the shadowing of fine recesses and projections on the surface of a product is formed to provide the three- dimensional outer appearance.

[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-200822 discloses a technique for obtaining a tactile sensation imitating natural leather. In this technique, three layers of coating films are formed in a laminated shape on the surface of a base resin having irregularities. First, the first layer is a primer, the second layer is a two-part urethane coating film with a large elongation, so that it has a resiliency comparable to that of a natural leather mesh layer, and the third layer is a natural leather nipple layer. And a two-part urethane coating film having the same gloss and denseness and a small elongation.
Since the surface of the coating film thus laminated is uneven along the unevenness of the surface of the base material, it is said that the touch is close to that of natural leather.

However, the textured surface on which the fine irregularities of the mold are transferred by molding the resin described above has a single color tone,
Appearance is resinous (resin itself) and poor in design. In addition, the technique disclosed in the above publication is a leather pattern that is poor in three-dimensional appearance in appearance, and although the effect of improving the tactile sensation can be obtained, it touches the interior parts except for the part that is normally gripped and operated (so that a natural leather sensation is obtained). ), And the substantial effect of improving the tactile sensation is not great.

Rather, in the technique disclosed in the above publication, the emphasis is placed on the problem that the unevenness of the base material loses sharpness due to a film thickness of about 50 μm and the three-dimensional effect is reduced. Furthermore, when the third layer is made of a two-component urethane coating with a small elongation and the surface texture is made as dense as the papillary layer of natural leather, it is difficult to reproduce the feel of natural leather, and the thickness of the second layer is reduced. Even at the maximum of 70 μm, a soft feeling cannot be obtained much.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of intensive studies, the present inventor has found that when forming a coating film on a base having fine irregularities on the surface, the base is colored so that the base can be seen through without being completely concealed, In addition, the inventors have found that the three-dimensional effect of the unevenness can be emphasized by forming the concave portion so as to be thicker than the convex portion, and have reached the present invention.

That is, the present invention provides (1) a base having fine irregularities formed on a surface thereof and a resin molded product having a coating formed on the surface, wherein the coating is transparent without the base being completely concealed. A resin molded article formed by a paint for coloring the base so that the concave portions of the fine irregularities are formed to be thicker than the convex portions; (3) a resin molded article coated with the coating according to the above (1) or (2), wherein the coated layer is further coated with a transparent protective coating; And (4) a resin molded article coated with the coating according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein the fine irregularities on the surface are fine irregularities imitating leather.

In the present invention, it is important to form a color difference between the concave portions and the convex portions by coloring. This color difference is formed by using a paint having a low hiding property, that is, a paint in which the base color of the base is not completely hidden by the coating film, that is, a paint in which the base color of the base can be seen through.

More specifically, the unevenness (shading) of the unevenness is given by the “flow” and “pool” of the paint due to the unevenness of the base. That is, the thickness of the concave portion is made larger than the thickness of the convex portion.
Preferably, the thickness of the recess is 2 to 8 times, more preferably 3 to 6 times the thickness of the projection. When the magnification is less than this, the density difference disappears and the three-dimensional feeling is reduced, and when it is more than this, the concave part is filled with the coating film, gradation is lost, the three-dimensional feeling is also lost, the touch feeling is also poor, the texture of leather etc. Will be impaired.

In the present invention, a color tone that is darker (darker) than the base color is selected, and when a “pool” is formed in a concave portion (valley), the concave portion is emphasized as a concave portion, and a convex portion (mountain) is formed.
The “flow” causes the concealing property to be further reduced, a color closer to the base color appears, and the unevenness has a three-dimensional appearance as a whole. The “flow” and “pool” occur on a flat place in the installation state of the product at the time of painting due to a natural flow-down action according to gravity, but also occur on an inclined surface or an upright surface with a cohesive action due to surface tension.

What is important in the present invention is that the thickness of the concave portion on the fine uneven surface of the molded product is larger than the thickness of the convex portion. For this reason, regarding the viscosity of the paint, a range of good fluidity, for example, when using an acrylic resin / epoxy resin type micron # 3500, the base agent and the thinner are blended in a ratio of 2: 1 to 2: 4, and the viscosity is determined by an Iwata viscosity cup. 8 ~ with NK-2 type (manufactured by Anest Iwata Co., Ltd.)
Those having a range of 15 seconds, preferably 9 to 11 seconds (20 ° C.) are used. The fluidity can be adjusted by adjusting the blending amount of the thinner. The drying rate can be controlled by adjusting the components of the thinner such as replacing the low-boiling solvent with a high-boiling solvent so that the drying rate does not become too high.

The above description has been made based on the coating method using a single-head type spray gun (one-nozzle type spray gun). Can be added. The two-head gun here is a spray gun that can simultaneously spray two kinds of paints with a single paint. Each independent two paint supply lines and the spray connected to each paint supply line. The nozzle is connected to a compressed air supply line capable of appropriately adjusting the air pressure, and can spray a paint of a predetermined amount, speed, density, or particle size by grasping a trigger. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, one nozzle sprays fine mist-like paint particles of a light colored transparent paint 16 and the other nozzle sprays a slightly darker colored transparent paint 17. A relatively large droplet is sprayed and mixed with each other while reaching or after reaching the surface of the automobile interior part, which is the object to be coated, to form a shaded pattern with two types of color clear. This becomes darker at the valley portion 12b and becomes lighter at the top portion 12a according to the unevenness of the grain, and the adjacent valley portions 12b, 12b,
A slightly different color tone is obtained between each of a and 12a, and natural “messyness” can be created. Thereby, it is possible to give a natural appearance different from an artificial thing which is common in resin molded articles.
