Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode ray tube display device that can produce a low frequency sound easy of listening with excellent reproducibility of the low sound frequency and effectively enhance the low frequency sound where a standing wave is hardly caused. SOLUTION: A cabinet 2 contains a cathode ray tube 1 and a box speaker 60 provided with a cathode ray tube 1 and a speaker 4. The box speaker 60 has a duct 50 a from which a low frequency sound is emitted, and an opening 2c to emit the low frequency sound from the duct 50a to the outside is formed to an upper face of the cabinet 2. The duct 50a is not communicated with the opening 2c and the low frequency sound from the duct 50a is reflected in a funnel section 1f and emitted from the opening 2c.
