即ち、本発明の要旨は、曝気槽と、曝気槽内部に配設した膜分離装置と、膜分
離装置の下方に配設した散気装置とを有する活性汚泥処理装置において、散気装
置の内部に流入した汚泥を散気装置外に排出する汚泥排出手段を有することを特
徴とする活性汚泥処理装置にある。
この活性汚泥処理装置における散気装置内に洗浄液を供給して、汚泥を散気装置外に排出するようにすると、散気装置内に流入した汚泥を散気装置外に排出しながら、散気装置内の洗浄を行うことができる。
また、この活性汚泥処理装置における散気装置内に洗浄液とエアーを供給し、気液混合流により、汚泥を散気装置外に排出するようにすると、更に洗浄効率が向上する。
