2. Description of the Related Art In large-scale facilities such as food processing facilities, refuse disposal facilities, and animal breeding facilities, malodorous components such as ammonia and methane gas are generated by fermentation and decomposition in addition to the odors of various components themselves. If discharged directly from the facility, it would cause odor pollution, so various deodorizing devices were used.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional deodorizing apparatus, although there is no problem when the amount of offensive odor is small, large-scale equipment such as food processing facilities, garbage disposal facilities, animal breeding facilities, etc. Since a large amount of offensive odor components are generated in this facility, it is necessary to generate a large amount of ozone gas for decomposing the components. This large amount of ozone gas increases the risk of ozone gas leakage. Furthermore, since both the offensive odor component and the ozone gas are gases, a huge space is required to mix and react them, and the reaction between the gases takes time, so that continuous treatment is difficult, and the huge Batch processing, such as storing in a tank for a while, was required, and serious problems in space, time, and safety were inevitable.

In the first gas-liquid mixing tank 2,
The gas containing the malodorous component injected from the lower malodorous component injection port 3 is full, and the atomizer 4 sprays fine mist-like water into the atmosphere, so that many of the malodorous components are dissolved in the water. It is drained from the drain port 5 at the bottom of the tank. next,

It is injected from the lower part of the gas-liquid mixing tank 6. Then, similarly, fine mist of water sprayed from the sprayer 8 dissolves most of the remaining odorous components and flows out from the drain port 9 at the bottom of the tank. Further, the gas containing a very small amount of unpleasant odor that has not been treated in the second gas-liquid mixing tank 6 passes through the third gas-liquid mixture through the ventilation pipe 11 disposed above the second gas-liquid mixing tank 6. It is injected from the lower part of the mixing tank 10. Similarly, fine mist-like water sprayed from the sprayer 12 is discharged from the drain port 13 at the bottom of the tank after thoroughly dissolving the remaining malodorous components.

An ozone inlet 25 is provided in the lower part of the deodorizing tank 20 to take in ozone from the ozone generator 19, and the deodorizing tank 20 is always filled with ozone having a deodorizing and sterilizing action. It is made odorless and harmless by dissolving in mist water and oxidizing and decomposing the internal malodorous components. And the deodorizing treatment tank 20
The almost deodorized and detoxified water collected at the bottom of the tank returns to the second water tank 18 again through the drain port 26, reduces the concentration of the malodorous component in the water in the second water tank 18, and further increases the malodorous component. The diluted water is again sprayed into the deodorizing tank 20 by the sprayer 22 through the second pump 21 in the form of fine mist, and the odorous component is repeatedly oxidized and decomposed by ozone to make it odorless and harmless. is there.

While a sufficient amount of ozone is continuously supplied from the ozone generator 19 into the deodorization tank 20,
It is necessary to exhaust the air in the deodorization tank 20. However, since it is not preferable to directly discharge the ozone having a strong oxidizing effect, the ozone decomposing means 3 for decomposing and removing excess ozone is provided above the deodorizing tank 20.
The exhaust unit 31 provided with 0 is provided. The ozone decomposing means 30 is provided with a catalyst means for decomposing ozone into oxygen to render it harmless, and further comprises an ultraviolet lamp for irradiating a long-wavelength ultraviolet ray of 254 nm which decomposes ozone into oxygen and also exerts a bactericidal action. It may be additionally provided.

As described above in detail, according to the present invention, a gas containing a malodorous component is injected into an atmosphere where water is sprayed, and the malodorous component is dissolved in water to convert the malodorous component from a gas to a liquid. By changing the phase, the volume of the object to be deodorized is significantly reduced, which makes it possible to reduce the size of the deodorizing device and to continuously process instead of storing and processing malodorous components. By doing so, continuous and efficient deodorizing treatment can be performed.
