Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply stretch and remove a wire to which a life line in a high lift work place is moored. SOLUTION: This wire stretcher includes a pair of side plates 1a, 1b, a fitting shaft 2 at the tips of the side plates 1a, 1b, to which a hook 30 is fitted, a drum 5 rotatably provided at the rear ends of the side plates 1a, 1b, in which a through hole 10 for passing a synthetic resin coated wire is bored, a ratchet wheel 15 fixed coaxially with the drum 5, a ratchet 20 meshing with the ratchet wheel 15 to regulate the rotation of the drum 5 only in the direction of taking up the synthetic resin coated wire, a spring for energizing the ratchet 20 in the direction of meshing with the ratchet wheel 15, and a releasing device 27 for holding the meshing in the release state. By this arrangement, the synthetic resin coated wire can be tensed and fixed only by inserting the wire in the through hole 10 and rotating the drum 5 in the take-up direction.

The conventional means for tensioning the coated wire 50 uses a shackle 54, a frame-type turnbuckle 55, and a wire clip 56, so that a large number of tools are required to tension the wire. The number of steps increases, and the work time is also increased. Accordingly, a large number of workers are required to stretch the covering wire 50, and the danger of the workers at high places is increased accordingly.

[0005] Further, the conventional tensioning means for the covering wire 50 requires a large space between the column 52 and the wire clip 56a, and the surplus portion 50a hanging down from the wire clip 56a of the folded covering wire 50 has a worker 5 '.
The surplus portion 50a was cut off because it took up the work space in which 7 acted and hindered the work.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention comprises a pair of parallel side plates, a mounting shaft for attaching a hook fixed to a front end of the side plates, and a composite shaft rotatably provided at a rear end of the side plates. A drum having a through hole through which the resin-coated wire is inserted, a ratchet wheel coaxially fixed to the drum, and meshing with the ratchet wheel to rotate the drum only in a winding direction of the synthetic resin-coated wire A ratchet that regulates the ratchet, a spring that urges the ratchet in the direction of engagement with the ratchet wheel, and a release device that holds the engagement in a released state against the spring. By inserting the synthetic resin-coated wire into the through-hole and rotating the drum in the winding direction, the synthetic resin-coated wire can be tensioned and fixed. Only in tension to release the meshing of Chet it is released, stretched and removal of the synthetic resin-coated wire is to be easy.
