を検出器15がオン、オフに応じて、このデータを8進
法で読み取る。これら検出器15で検出された信号に基
づいて、8進法に従ってデータを設置化した後、この数
値を2進法に変換する変換回路16が設けてある。この
ような変換された信号に従ってCD―ROM10のデー
タを再生する。この形態においては、8進法に従って検
出器15を8個、前記のように配置したが請求項4記載
の発明のように10進法を採用する場合には、検出器1
5を等角間隔で10個配置する。又3進法以上のn進法
を採用させる場合には、検出器15を3個以上でn個等
角間隔で配置する。 実施の形態2 実施の形態1と異なる所は、光記録媒体としてCD―R
OM10に代えて、DVD10aが用いられることであ

記変換回路16を経てデータは映像信号に分離し再生さ
