右に分断するブラシ非植毛域を設けることとした点に特
徴がある。この構成によれば、感光体ドラム内の下端部
で蒸発した溶剤蒸気が、回転体周面のブラシ非植毛域に
より上部に抜けるので、溶剤蒸気の充満により感光体ド
ラム下端部の内圧が上昇するのを回避でき、内圧上昇で
発生する気泡に起因して感光体ドラムの外面が処理液で
