Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer attaching mechanism which is capable of easily and surely attaching a resin oil strainer to a valve body without using bolts. SOLUTION: A valve body 2 is fixed to a bottom of a casing 1, and a resin oil strainer 6 is attached to a lower surface of the valve body 2 with its oil discharge port 6c fitted in an oil suction port 2b1 of the valve body 1. The casing 1 is fixed with the valve body 2 and an oil pan 9 covering the lower surface of the oil strainer 9. The lower surface of the valve body 2 is closed with an oil passage sealing plate 4, and attaching pawls 6f1 to 6f3 protrudingly disposed on an upper surface of the oil strainer are engagedly attached to an edge portion of an oil passage sealing plate 4. Protrusions 6g1 to 6g3 abutting against an upper surface of the oil pan 9 are protrudingly disposed on an lower surface of the oil strainer in order to prevent disengagement of the oil discharge port 6c and the oil suction port 2b1.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in an automatic transmission or the like, a valve body is fixed to the bottom of a casing, and an oil strainer is mounted on a lower surface side of the valve body by fitting an oil discharge port to an oil suction port of the valve body. ,
Further, there is known a casing in which an oil pan that covers a lower surface side of a valve body and an oil strainer is fixed (see, for example, FIG. 4 of JP-A-10-231921).

[0003] The oil strainer is made of a metal plate, and its peripheral portion is bolted to the valve body. However, a metal oil strainer increases the weight and increases the cost, and in recent years, a resin oil strainer has been used. In the case of the resin-made oil strainer, the weight can be reduced as compared with the metal oil strainer, and since it can be integrally formed into an arbitrary shape, cost can be reduced.

However, when a resin oil strainer is bolted to a valve body in the same manner as a metal oil strainer, a bolted portion of the oil strainer is liable to be broken, and a metal bush is required. On the contrary, there is a disadvantage that the cost is increased.

Therefore, an oil strainer mounting structure that can be mounted without using bolts is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 62-390.
No. 59 is disclosed. In this mounting structure, the casing or the valve body is provided with a locking portion that engages with the positioning engagement portion of the oil strainer, and an elastic member is interposed between the oil strainer and the oil pan, so that the oil strainer is mounted on the casing or the valve body. Alternatively, it is pressed and fixed to the valve body. In this case, there is an advantage that the assembly is simplified because the bolting is not required, but since an additional member such as an elastic member is required, the number of parts may be increased and the cost may be increased.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a valve body is fixed to a bottom portion of a casing, and an oil strainer is connected to an oil discharge port on a lower surface side of the valve body. The oil strainer is formed by fitting it to the oil inlet of the valve body, and the casing is further fixed with an oil pan covering the lower surface of the valve body and the oil strainer. A plurality of mounting claws that engage with a part are protruded integrally, and can be in contact with the upper surface of the oil pan on the lower surface of the oil strainer, preventing the oil discharge port from being disengaged from the oil suction port. The present invention provides an oil strainer mounting structure in which projections are integrally provided.

In the present invention, the oil strainer is mounted by engaging a mounting claw projecting from a resin oil strainer with a part of the valve body. Therefore, the conventional bolt tightening is not required, and another member such as a metal bush or an elastic member is not required. Also, if the mounting claws are damaged, the oil strainer falls off the valve body, and the oil stored in the oil pan does not flow to the valve body via the oil strainer. Therefore, a projection is provided on the lower surface of the oil strainer, and the projection is applied to the upper surface of the oil pan, thereby preventing the oil discharge port of the oil strainer from being disengaged from the oil suction port of the valve body.

As a portion of the valve body to which the mounting claw is engaged, a step portion or the like may be formed on the valve body itself, or an oil passage seal plate may be attached to a lower surface of the valve body, and an edge portion of the seal plate may be provided. The mounting claw may be locked. If the oil passage seal plate is used, it is not necessary to separately form a portion that engages with the mounting claw on the valve body, so that cost increase does not occur.

The oil strainer 6 forms a filtration chamber 6d by joining the peripheral portions of an upper member 6a and a lower member 6b. At three positions between the vehicle front side and the rear side and lateral side of the upper surface of the oil strainer 6, the engaging hooks 6f 1 ~6f 3 inwardly of, as shown in FIG. 2 are integrally projects, these mounting The pawls 6f 1 to 6f 3 are connected to the peripheral portion 4 of the oil passage seal plate 4.
The oil strainer 6 is stably attached by engaging with a, 4b, and 4c. The upper surface of the oil strainer 6 is formed with a plurality of recesses 6h into which the heads of the fastening bolts 5 of the oil passage seal plate 4 are fitted. The lower surface of the oil strainer 6, the wide mouth of the oil suction port 6e which is open downwardly, and three projections 6 g 1 to 6 g 3 are formed. These three projections 6 g 1 to 6 g 3 are also arranged in triangular shape and the vehicle front side and rear side and lateral side.

On the lower surface of the casing 1, a valve body 2 is provided.
The oil pan 9 covering the lower surfaces of the oil strainers 6 a and 2 b and the oil strainer 6 is fastened by bolts 10. Then, the projections 6 g 1 of the oil strainer 6 to 6 g 3 are in contact or close to the upper surface of the oil pan 9 so as to prevent the fitting out of the oil suction port 2b 1 and the oil discharge port 6c. Since the projections 6 g 1 to 6 g 3 has a function as a spacer to open the fixed gap between the oil strainer 6 and the oil pan 9, the oil pan 9 through the gap
The oil accumulated in the oil strainer 6 can be smoothly guided to the suction port 6e of the oil strainer 6.

Even if the mounting claw is broken, the protrusion projecting from the lower surface of the oil strainer hits the upper surface of the oil pan to prevent the oil discharge port of the oil strainer from being disengaged from the oil suction port of the valve body. Therefore, the function as an oil strainer can be maintained.
