した塗装を落とす後処理が必要となり、製造時の作業性
が悪いという問題があった。また、外リングは、嵌結合
時にしごきながら圧入する為、接続端部のポリエチレン
管にこのしごきによる応力が溜まり、これが時間と共に
戻ろうとして、外リングに抜き方向の力がかかり、時間
経過に伴って、徐々に外リングが後退移動して、ついに
外リングが離脱したり、外リングによる締付保持力が低
下したりして、管接続強度が低くなるという問題があっ
