Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect tension degree based on the repulsion of wind pressure on the surface of cloth by letting act wind pressure on the surface of cloth tensely transferred by a tenter. SOLUTION: A tenter 1 is operated to transfer long cloth 2 in a fixed tense condition, a blower 8 is driven to blow the generated air against the upper face of the cloth 1 from a measuring head 7 through a flow regulating valve 10 and a sensitivity regulating throttle valve 12. Rebounding air on the cloth surface received with the pressure receiving port of the head 7 is changed by the tension degree of the cloth 2. In this way, the tension degree can be detected by measuring the leakage of air from the head 7 varying by change of tension of the cloth 2 by means of an air flow meter 9. In short, after operating a zero point regulating throttle valve 13 and a regulating throttle valve 12 to regulate a float position so that the float 9B in the taper pipe 9A in the air flow meter 9 balances on the intermediate position in the vertical direction, measurement of tension of the cloth is begun. When the tension is weak and slacking is generated on the cloth by air pressure, the air leakage increases and the float 9B rises.

2. Description of the Related Art In the textile processing industry, for example, it is customary to perform a pre-treatment and a post-treatment on the basis of a long fabric such as a woven fabric or a knitted fabric produced in a spinning factory.
Subsequent processing includes mercerizing, setting, and the like. In order to perform such mercerizing, setting, and the like, a tenter that transfers the fabric while tensioning the fabric in the width direction is generally used.

[0003] In the above tenter, as a typical one,
A clip tenter and a pin tenter are well-known, and the clip tenter or the pin tenter has two right and left endless chains which are hung on a chain wheel and rotate, and further, along a longitudinal direction of the chain, a clip or a pin sheet. Are attached at regular intervals, and while the edges on both sides of the fabric to be treated are engaged with the clips or pin sheets attached to the two left and right chains, the fabric follows the operation of the chain. By transferring, the transfer fabric is continuously transferred while being strained in the width direction.

As described above, by applying a treatment liquid, a hot liquid, a washing liquid, or the like to the tensioned cloth in the process of transferring while applying tension in the width direction to the cloth to be treated by using the tenter, a desired liquid is applied. Can be performed, but the thickness of the fabric that is tensionally transferred by the tenter,
In addition, the weight and the weight are various, and it is difficult to transfer any of the fabrics with a uniform tension.

[0005] In other words, a thin and lightweight fabric can effectively tension the fabric with a relatively low tensioning force, but, for example, a thick and heavy fabric can be effectively tensioned without a relatively strong tensioning force. Can not. For this reason, the conventional tenter has a control mechanism capable of adjusting (controlling) the tension imparting force to the cloth.

However, even if it is possible to adjust the tension of the cloth to be transferred by the above-described tensioning force control mechanism, is the tensioning force applied to the cloth by the control mechanism appropriate? Since it is difficult to mechanically or electrically detect the determination of the presence or absence, conventionally, the degree of tension of the transferred fabric has to rely on the tactile sensation of the operator.

Numeral 8 denotes a blower serving as an air source for blowing air from an air outlet 7A of the measuring head 7;
Is an air flow meter, and the configuration of this air flow meter 9 is shown in FIG.
As shown in the figure, a float 9 that freely moves up and down under the pressure of air is provided inside a tapered tube 9A that is positioned vertically.
B, the float 9B fluctuates due to the differential pressure of air acting from the upper and lower openings of the tapered tube 9A, and the position of the fluctuation can be read by a scale 9C. That is, the float 9B moves up and down in response to the air pressure acting from the upper and lower openings of the tapered pipe, and stops at a position in the tapered pipe 9A that balances the effective weight. This is to detect the stationary position of the float to detect the degree of tension of the cloth.

Reference numeral 10 denotes a flow control valve connected to an air delivery pipe 11 of the blower 8. The outlet of the flow control valve 10 has a sensitivity control throttle valve 12 and a lower opening of the tapered pipe 9A. Each is branched and connected. The outlet side of the sensitivity adjusting throttle valve 12 is branched and connected to the upper opening of the tapered tube 9A, the measuring head 7 and the zero point adjusting throttle valve.

The above is the description of the configuration. Next, the operation will be described. First, the tenter 1 is operated to transfer the long fabric 2 in a predetermined tension state, and at the same time, the blower 8 is driven, and the air generated by the blower 8 is passed through the flow rate adjusting valve 10 and the sensitivity adjusting throttle valve 12, It is sprayed from the measuring head 7 toward the upper surface of the fabric 1.

At this time, the rebound air pressure on the cloth surface received by the pressure receiving port 7B of the measuring head 7 changes depending on the degree of tension of the cloth 1. In other words, the rebound air pressure received at the pressure receiving port 7B differs depending on the thickness of the transferred fabric, the number of driven yarns, and the like. Now, assuming that the thickness of the fabric and the number of driven yarns are constant, If the tension of the cloth 2 is low, the gap between the pressure receiving port 7B of the measuring head 7 and the upper surface of the cloth 2 becomes large due to the air pressure blown out from the measuring head 7, so that the air from the measuring head 7 Leakage increases. Conversely, if the tension of the cloth 2 is high, the gap between the pressure receiving port 7B and the upper surface of the cloth 2 is not expanded even if there is a blowing pressure from the measuring head 7, and the air from the measuring head 7 Water leakage is reduced.

As described above, the degree of the tension of the cloth 2 can be detected by measuring the amount of leakage of air from the measuring head 7 which fluctuates due to the change in the tension of the cloth 2 with the air flow meter 9. That is, the zero-point adjusting throttle valve 13 and the sensitivity adjusting throttle valve 2 are operated so that the float 9B in the tapered pipe 9A in the air flow meter 9 is balanced at the intermediate position in the vertical direction (zero position). After adjusting the position to the reference position, the tension measurement of the cloth is started.
Therefore, when the tension of the cloth 2 is weak and the cloth is easily sagged by the air pressure, the amount of air leakage from the measuring head 7 increases, and the air pressure above the float 9B in the tapered pipe 9A in the air flow meter 9 decreases, Float 9 for this
B rises.

Conversely, when the tension of the cloth 2 is high and the cloth is hardly sagged, the amount of air leakage from the measuring head 7 decreases, and the taper pipe 9 in the air flow meter 9 is reduced.
The air pressure above the float 9B in A rises, which causes the float 9B to fall. By the vertical movement of the float 9B, it is possible to detect the degree of the tension of the fabric that is tension-transferred by the tenter 1 as a numerical value.

As described above, the quality of the treated fabric 2 transferred by the tenter 1 is various, and the transmission rebound of air varies depending on the thickness, the number of yarns to be driven, and the like. In such a case, by operating and adjusting the sensitivity adjustment throttle valve 12 and the flow rate adjustment valve 10, it is possible to effectively know the degree of tension at the time of transferring the various fabrics by the tenter 1.
