【請求項3】 前記画像表示装置に映し出される前記画像の全画素の中の最高輝度L(cd/m2)に対して、該画像表示装置の前記周辺視野の輝度L’(cd/m2)が、0<L’<1.25・Lの関係を満たすように前記光源を制御する、請求項1または2に記載の照明制御方法。
【請求項4】 前記光源は、前記画像表示装置の背景位置或いは周辺位置を照明するように割り当てられている、請求項1または2に記載の照明制御方法。
