Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a trouble caused by the drip of water drops after using a foldable umbrella. FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to improved umbrellas, and more particularly to shafts, rings attached to their fixtures, and collapsible around the shafts and articulated to these rings. The present invention relates to an improvement of a folding type umbrella having a rib and a waterproof cloth stretched over the rib.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Various products are currently offered on the market in order to protect themselves from the rain and the harsh weather when going out in bad weather. That is, umbrellas, oil cloths, raincoats, gabardines, berets, wide hats and the like are used for this purpose.

Of these, umbrellas are most frequently used because they are easy to carry and use. Also, depending on the size of the umbrella, there is an advantage that not only one person but several people can share the umbrella.

However, the conventional folding umbrella has a great disadvantage that its outer surface is wet after use. That is, there is an inconvenience that the water drops drop from the umbrella to wet the floor, or the clothes touch the clothes to get wet.

Claims (1)
