2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a saddle water tap is fixed to a water main pipe or a gas main pipe, and a branch pipe is connected to this water tap to branch off, a hole between the perforation hole of the main pipe and a saddle mounting surface is formed. A gasket is mounted between the water faucet and the perforated hole to ensure sealing.

If the main pipe is made of a metal such as a cast iron pipe or a steel pipe, the gasket maintains the sealing performance of the saddle mounting surface. However, if the main pipe is a resin pipe of polyethylene, polypropylene or the like, the saddle is not used. If used for a long time with bolts and nuts tightened, residual stress in the resin pipe may cause
The tube will creep and the gasket seal will deteriorate,
As a result, there is a possibility that a fluid such as water leaks from this portion.

However, Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. Hei 10-196871 employs a means for tapping a core into a perforation hole of a main pipe. Because it is independent, the core itself does not bite into the drilled hole of the resin tube, and the external thread of the core is tapped so that only the thread of the screw is locked to the inner diameter of the drilled hole. However, since it is mounted in an incomplete state, there is still a problem that a fluid leakage phenomenon occurs.

FIG. 11 shows still another example of the saddle tap according to the present invention, in which a drilling blade 22 is provided on the drilling tool 23 side. In FIG.
6, a ball mechanism 24 that opens and closes with a stem 24a is provided, and the drilling tool 23 is rotated manually by a manual handle 23a or automatically.
b, the screw portion 22a of the drilling blade 22 is screwed, and the cylindrical core 13 and the drilling blade 22 are simultaneously rotated in the same manner as in the above example, so that the drilling and the mounting of the core 13 are performed in one step. I have. In this case, after the attachment is completed, the cap 25 is removed from the water faucet main body 26, and the drilling tool 23 and the drilling blade 22 are removed.
Is removed from the water faucet body by removing the cap nut from the body 26, and a lid (not shown) is placed on the upper end of the body 26 to hermetically seal it.
Since the perforating blade 22 is not disposable unlike the above, it is preferable to use a hardened material for the cutting tool.
In the above-described example, the diversion holes and the press-fit tapping of the cylindrical core are performed in one process. However, the tubular core may be press-fitted and tapped on the pre-drilled one.

As is apparent from the above description, crimp deformation of the resin main pipe is prevented by press-fitting and tapping the cylindrical core into the water distribution hole, and the sealing force of the gasket provided on the outer peripheral surface of the water distribution hole. Can be held for a long period of time, and the cylindrical core can be more firmly connected to the water distribution hole by press-fitting tapping, and a saddle water faucet with increased reliability can be obtained.

In addition, drilling and core insertion can be performed in a single step, which simplifies the operation. Moreover, there is no danger of misalignment of the core or saddle between drilling and core insertion. It can be completed and the situation such as fluid leakage can be prevented.Furthermore, even if a pulling force is applied to the resin main pipe during use and the main pipe becomes thinner, the sealing force of the gasket is reduced. Has excellent effects such as being reliably maintained over a long period of time. Further, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the water tap does not require a water stop mechanism such as a cock.
