In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, a ball seat for mounting a ball in a ball holding chamber at a tip end of a chip is formed, and a back surface of the ball is coiled. The tip end edge is pressed by the spring directly or via the pressing element against the inner wall surface of the tip end edge, and the tip end edge is first swaged and second swaged with a part of the ball protruding from the tip end. By crimping inward, the tip for the applicator holding the ball rotatably has a first swaging angle of 60 to 100 ° and a second swaging angle larger than the first swaging angle. ,
Let the ball coming out from the tip of the chip with the ball placed on the ball seat be 20 to 30% of the ball diameter.

In addition, the ball coming out from the tip end in a state where the ball separates from the ball seat and is urged to the tip end edge is changed from the ball coming out from the tip end mounted on the ball seat. Is set to be 5 to 15% larger than the ball diameter.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 6. First, an applicator tip 1 is conventionally known on the bottom wall of a ball holding chamber 4 of a tip body 2. FIG. And a radial groove 6 extending radially from the coating liquid flow hole 5. Then, the ball 3 is inserted into the ball holding chamber 4, and the tip 8 of the chip is swaged by the first caulking. By caulking inward by the second caulking process, the ball 3 is manufactured by rotatably holding a part of the ball 3 in a state of projecting outward from the tip end 8 of the ball.

Further, as shown in FIG. 5, if only the first caulking is performed, the corner portion L hits the surface to be coated due to the angle at the time of coating or the like. Therefore, the second swaging angle 2θ is changed to the first swaging angle 1θ.
By forming it larger, the corner portion L generated by the first caulking is plastically deformed, so that even when the tip of the chip hits the surface to be coated or the like, a smooth application liquid discharge can be obtained.

Further, if the first swaging angle is smaller than 60 °, the tip end 8 of the chip will hit the surface to be coated only by slightly tilting the coating angle during coating, so that it is difficult to obtain a smooth coating liquid discharge. If it is larger than 100 °, the plastic deformation of the tip of the chip is large, so that the ball holding force is weak, and the impact resistance is reduced.

Is set to 20% to 30% of the ball diameter A from the tip of the chip placed on the ball. According to the examination results, when the ball protrusion J is less than 20% of the ball diameter, the tip end 8 easily hits the application surface during application, and the tip end 8 is easily damaged. If it is larger than 30%, the ball holding power becomes weak, and the impact resistance such as dropping falls.

The ball 3 is inserted so as to be movable in the axial direction in order to secure a discharge amount of the coating liquid. Therefore, when the ball is urged against the inner wall surface of the tip end edge, the ball exit K coming out from the tip end is larger than the ball exit J coming out from the tip end placed on the ball seat. Set 5 to 15% larger. If it is less than 5%, the amount of ball movement is small, so that the amount of the coating liquid ejected is small. I do.

[0016] Impact resistance and good application liquid discharge are also affected by the thickness of the tip of the chip before swaging. A thinner tip end edge is less likely to contact the surface to be coated, so that a smooth application liquid discharge can be obtained, but the impact resistance is weakened. Similarly, when the thickness of the tip edge becomes thicker,
Although the tip edge holding the ball is thick, it has high impact resistance, but it is difficult to obtain a smooth coating liquid discharge because it easily contacts the surface to be coated. According to the examination result, as shown in FIG.
The thickness B of the tip end edge before swaging is 0.05 mm or more.
It was found to be 0.15 mm. If it is less than 0.5 mm, the impact resistance is significantly reduced, which is not preferable. On the other hand, if it is larger than 0.15 mm, even if the tip of the chip is slightly tilted, it hits the surface to be coated, so that a smooth discharge of the coating liquid cannot be obtained.

The tip 1 for an applicator of the present embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is made of a tungsten carbide-based hard material having a ball diameter A of 0.5 mm by cutting a tip member 2 made of stainless steel. In order to be able to hold the ball 3, a ball holding chamber 4 is formed, and a coating liquid passage hole 5 is formed at the center of the bottom wall of the ball holding chamber 4 and extends radially from the coating liquid flow hole 5. The radial groove 6 is provided. Then, the ball 3 is inserted into the ball holding chamber 4 and is brought into contact with the bottom wall, and the ball 3 is hammered to make the contacted portion into a ball shape, and receives the writing pressure applied to the ball 3 at the time of application. And a ball seat 7 for smooth rotation of the ball 3 is formed. Next, when the thickness B is 0.1
In the state where the ball 3 is seated on the ball seat 7 with the tip end 8 of 20 mm and 20% (0.1 mm) of the diameter of the ball 3 is projected outward from the tip end 8, the first By caulking 80 ° inside by caulking, and then caulking in 140 ° inside, which is 60 ° larger than the first caulking angle, by second caulking, it was held rotatably.

A ball seat for mounting a ball in a ball holding chamber at a tip end of a chip is formed, and a back surface of the ball is formed inside a tip end edge of the tip directly by a coil spring or via a pressing element. The ball is pressed against the wall surface, and the tip end edge is swaged inward by the first swaging and the second swaging in a state where a part of the ball is projected from the tip end, so that the ball is rotatably held. In the chip for the applicator to be held, the first swaging angle is set to 60 to 100 °, the second swaging angle is formed to be larger than the first swaging angle, and the ball is placed on the ball seat from the tip end. A tip for an applicator, wherein a projected ball projection is 20 to 30% of a ball diameter.
