Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air drying apparatus capable of preventing external force from being applied to an article to be dried with a simplified structure and drying the article effectively. SOLUTION: A substantially cylindrical body 4 is constructed by rotatively joining a pair of a substantially cylindrical lower frame section and an upper frame section with a rotating member provided on longitudinally one side. A hot air inflow hole is formed on a one end side of the body 4 and an exhaust hole is formed on the other end side with its axial direction disposed substantially horizontally. A compartment plate having a plurality of vent holes is held between the lower frame section and the upper frame section to define a drying chamber 12 on the upper side and a hot air chamber 11 on the lower side. There is rotatively provided a closing plate for varying a distribution ratio of hot air from hot air introduction means 41 flowing into a first inflow hole 18 and a second inflow hole 19 opposing to the hot air inflow holes of the drying chamber 12 and the hot air chamber 11. An article to be dried thrown into the drying chamber 12 through raw material throwing means 25 is carried and dried, entrained with the hot air passing through the drying chamber 12 while being floated with the hot air blown up through the vent hole 13 from the hot air chamber 11.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as an apparatus for drying processed foods such as hail and snacks or inorganic materials such as chamotte by hot air, for example, a hot air is blown up from below in a longitudinal direction such as a shuttle kiln. There is known a configuration in which an object to be dried supplied from above is dried. However, this vertical one is
The height becomes 10 m or more, and there is a problem of poor enforceability.
For this reason, it is conceivable to install the vertically long device in, for example, a substantially horizontal direction. However, when the shape is substantially horizontal and the dried object slides on the bottom, the contact with hot air becomes insufficient,
The drying efficiency decreases.

Therefore, as described in, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 40-720 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-107772, a rotating drum having an air hole and rotating with its axial direction slightly inclined from a substantially horizontal direction is provided. 2. Description of the Related Art There is known a configuration in which a dried material is charged and the material to be dried is dried by hot air flowing in a substantially radial direction of a rotary drum through a ventilation hole.

However, the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Publication No. 40-720 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-10777 are disclosed.
In the conventional hot-air drying device described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 2 (1993) -1995, there is a possibility that the object to be dried slides on the inner surface of the rotary drum, and sufficient contact with hot air cannot be obtained, resulting in a decrease in drying efficiency.

Therefore, it is conceivable that a stirring blade is protruded from the inner surface of the rotary drum, or a separate microwave drying means is used. However, there is a problem that the structure becomes complicated and productivity cannot be improved. In addition, there is a possibility that the object to be dried is damaged by an external force acting on the object to be dried during the rotation of the rotary drum.

Then, the hot air is introduced, and the hot air is introduced into the drying chamber and the hot air chamber partitioned by the partition plate having a plurality of ventilation holes through which the material to be dried cannot flow. The hot air introduced by the hot air inlet means is introduced from the hot air inlet, and the hot air flowing into the hot air chamber flows upward into the drying chamber so as to float the material to be dried in the drying chamber through the ventilation holes of the partition plate. The hot air flowing into the drying chamber is circulated toward the drying chamber, and the hot air flowing into the drying chamber conveys the floating drying object while drying it, and the hot air is discharged from the outlet together with the dried object to be dried. Therefore, by dividing the hot air into two flows, a flow for floating the material to be dried and a flow for transporting the material to be dried, the device can be dried with a simple structure without applying an external load such as rotating the main body. The contact efficiency between the object and hot air is improved, and the object to be dried is efficiently dried without being damaged.

The hot-air drying apparatus 1 is provided with a separating means 45 into which the dried material which has been dried and discharged from the outlet of the main body 4 together with the hot air flows in. This separation means 45
A substantially cylindrical separation tank 47 having a funnel-shaped stacking section 46 whose upper end face is closed and which opens upward at the lower end face is provided.
In the upper part of the separation tank 47, an exhaust port (not shown) through which hot air is drawn out and discharged from a substantially central portion by a second blower 48 as an exhaust means is formed. The object to be dried discharged from the outlet together with the hot air flows in a spiral form along the tangential direction from the outer peripheral surface of the separation tank 47, and the object to be dried is deposited on the accumulation portion by its own weight, and only the hot air is exhausted from the outlet. To separate the hot air and the object to be dried. Note that a mesh filter may be provided at the exhaust port.

First, a first blower 43 and a second blower
While driving 48, the heating means 42 is heated, and the air heated by the heating means 42 is sent as hot air from the hot air inlet to the flow dividing chamber 16 in the main body 4. Further, the opening ratio of the first inlet 18 of the drying chamber 12 and the second inlet 19 of the hot-air chamber 11 is reduced by, for example, the closing plate 22 which rotates the shaft 21 appropriately by the rotating means and integrally rotates. In the case of processed foods such as hail, the ratio of hot air flowing from the first inlet 18 and the second inlet 19 is 4: 6, and in the case of inorganic materials such as chamotte, the ratio is 2: 8. For example, the opening ratio is set so as to be a branch ratio appropriately set according to the true specific gravity of the material to be dried and the air resistance.

Further, since the main body 4 is formed in a longitudinal tunnel kiln type with a hot air inlet opening at one end in the longitudinal direction and an outlet at the other end, the structure is simple and the construction is easy, and the equipment cost is reduced. It can be reduced, for example, installed near the wall,
For example, by forming a U-shape in plan view, the installation space can be reduced, for example, the installation space can be reduced. Moreover,
Since the drying chamber 12 and the hot air chamber 11 are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction in the main body 4, the hot air flowing from the hot air inlet is
Since the air is similarly blown out from the plurality of ventilation holes 13 of the partition plate 8 through the hot air chamber 11, even in the vicinity of the outlet, the temperature does not decrease so much that the material comes into contact with the object to be dried. It can be dried well and the device can be downsized.
