Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceiling flush type air conditioner having a heat insulating drain pan in which assembling workability is enhanced while reducing the vertical dimensions by employing a drain pan being split vertically while having opposite joints and forming the lower drain pan, a decoration panel, a guide member and a bell mouth integrally. SOLUTION: A bell mouth 2a is disposed between a fan 4 and an air inlet 2 and a guide member 2b having a streamline upper surface, is disposed between the lower section of a heat exchanger 6 and the fan in order to guide an air flow from the air inlet 2 substantially uniformly toward a heat exchanger 6. A drain pan disposed at the lower part of the heat exchanger 6 is split vertically while having opposite joints. The drain pan comprises upper and lower drain pans 7', 7 stacked while forming an air gap part (a) wherein the lower drain pan 7, a decoration panel 8, the guide member 2b and a bell mouth 2a are formed integrally. Since the drain pan can form an airtight air gap part (a), heat insulation performance is stabilized.

[0004] Further, the dew receiving tray 7 is, for example, a real open flat -6.
As disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 73616, there is known a technology in which hollow molding is performed to enhance heat insulation performance to prevent dew. However, in this case, the technology is used for a ceiling embedded type air conditioner. There is a problem that the height dimension of the hollow molded portion is likely to be non-uniform due to a suitable shape of the dew receiving tray 7 and molding conditions, and therefore, the heat insulating performance is difficult to stabilize. Further, in the case where the dew receiving tray 7 forms the hollow molded part by bonding a plurality of components, post-processing for the bonding is required and productivity is deteriorated. There is a problem that the heat insulation performance is difficult to stabilize as the confidentiality becomes unstable.

Further, the guide member 2b is provided in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-1
As disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 71520, the inner peripheral portion of the upper surface of the fan 4 is arranged close to the outer peripheral portion of the lower surface of the shroud 4a of the fan 4 so that the fan 4 The flow on the side of the shroud 4a adheres to the upper surface of the guide member 2b. The Coanda effect occurs, and the flow of the wind is attracted downward.
Although the peeling area from 4a had an effect of being effectively reduced, since the guide member 2b was provided as a separate member, the workability for that was poor and the cost was disadvantageous. .
