Description of the Related Art In order to impart gloss to a tooth surface and prevent plaque formation, it has been studied to apply a coating agent to the tooth surface or mix it with a dentifrice. As the coating agent, for example, wax, phosphate, shellac, polyvinylpyrrolidone and the like are known. However, these coating agents do not always have a satisfactory coating effect on the tooth surface, and there is room for study.

について説明する。Conventionally, it has been studied to mix fatty acid salts into oral compositions, but the purpose of the compounding is, for example, to impart a surfactant effect or to be used in combination with a medicinal ingredient such as ascorbic acid. Thus, the effect of preventing and treating periodontal disease was enhanced. In the present invention, the fatty acid salt has an excellent tooth surface coating effect, and further has an effect of protecting the tooth surface from the acid produced by bacteria.
Thereby, adhesion of bacteria and food debris to teeth can be prevented.
Furthermore, the adsorbability of other components (for example, a bactericide) to the tooth surface can be improved. Thereby, the action of other components such as a bactericide can be directly expressed on the tooth surface, and the action can be maintained. The effects of these fatty acid salts are not known, and have been newly found by the study of the present inventors. Further, as another aspect, the present invention comprises a fatty acid salt (preferably a compound represented by the above formula (1)) as an active ingredient, and adsorbs a desired component (particularly, a quaternary ammonium salt) to the tooth surface. There are also uses as adsorption promoters that can be promoted. Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described.

mm × 2 mm in thickness), the contact angle was measured by the following method to examine the tooth surface coating effect. For the purpose of tooth surface coating, the compounds shown in Table 1 below were used as liquid preparations (alcohol 5%, glycerin 15%, fragrance 1%, nonionic surfactant 0.2%, other trace components, 100 ml with purified water). Test Samples 1 to 10 were prepared by mixing 0.2 g of the test sample. One piece of the above hydroxyapatite is immersed in 10 ml of each sample for 30 seconds, taken out, washed and dried, and then subjected to a contact angle meter (KYOWA CONT).
The contact angle was measured using ACT ANGLEMETER CA-X (manufactured by Kyowa Kagaku). The test was repeated twice, and the average was calculated.
