Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lime nitrogen fertilizer capable of regulating its effect as fertilizer and agrochemical effect irrespective of the kind of soil by including lime nitrogen, substance(s) selected from oxycarboxylic acids (salts), ketocarboxylic acids (salts), saccharides, and lignosulfonic acid (salt), and water- repellent substance(s). SOLUTION: This fertilizer is obtained by including lime nitrogen, substance(s) selected from oxycarboxylic acids (salts) ketocarboxylic acids (salts), saccharides, and lignosulfonic acid (salt), and water-repellent substance(s); wherein it is preferable that the water-repellent substance(s) is one or more kinds selected from silane coupling agents, fatty acids (salts), fatty acid esters, waxes, and paraffins, being of granular form, and existing more in the vicinity of the surface than the center of the granules; and the lime nitrogen is such one that the quicklime fraction thereof is slaked, and may comprise calcium cyanamide as the main component and quicklime, slaked lime, carbon, etc., as subcomponent(s). If the hydrolysis rate of the lime nitrogen is lowered to decrease the rate of cyanamide formation, the rate of urea formation succeeding thereto can also be decreased; therefore long-term effect of the fertilizer can be attained.

2. Description of the Related Art Lime-nitrogen fertilizer is a slow-release fertilizer containing calcium cyanamide as a main component and also has a pesticide effect, and has been used for many years. However, the slow-release effect of lime nitrogen fertilizer is easily affected by soil, and the pesticide effect was developed within 1-2 days after application and continued for about a week after that, but it was difficult after that. , It was necessary to apply fertilizer in several times, which made the agricultural work busy. Therefore, the appearance of a lime-nitrogen fertilizer, which can adjust the fertilization effect, for example, the period until nitrification, and the pesticide effect, for example, sustained release of cyanamide, without waiting for the influence of soil and the like, has been awaited.

However, all of these target fertilizers relate to urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, potassium chloride, etc., and not lime nitrogen fertilizers. Regarding the lime nitrogen fertilizer, it is only disclosed that the surface of a granular one is coated with sulfur in order to prevent weathering (Japanese Patent Publication No. 40-22896).

Granular lime-nitrogen fertilizer coated with sulfur is manufactured with consideration so as not to suppress elution, so when the soil is different, the slow-release and pesticide effects are adjusted while maintaining the fertilization effect. Often difficult to do. Also,
Some efforts have been made, such as granulating lime nitrogen fertilizer and coating the surface with a thermoplastic resin or a rubber polymer, but simply coating it has not been sufficient to adjust the hydrolysis rate. .

That is, the above-mentioned coating method is intended to substantially reduce the surface area of lime nitrogen in the portion in contact with water when calcium cyanamide in lime nitrogen fertilizer is hydrolyzed. When the hydrolysis of lime nitrogen was started, its effect was lost, and it was difficult to adjust the slow release effect and pesticide effect while maintaining the original fertilizing effect of lime nitrogen fertilizer.

[0006] Therefore, the present applicant delayed the hydrolysis rate of lime nitrogen by the presence of a specific substance, so that the fertilizing effect and the pesticide effect could be adjusted in many soils, and the handling property was excellent. A granular lime nitrogen composition was previously proposed. However, it has been unsolved that the effect of delaying hydrolysis of the lime nitrogen composition cannot be sufficiently obtained in the soil containing a large amount of soil colloid.

As the lime nitrogen used in the present invention, generally available lime nitrogen suffices, calcium cyanamide (CaCN 2 ) being the main component, quick lime (CaO), slaked lime (Ca (OH) 2 ) and carbon. Various compositions having (C) as an auxiliary component are known, and any of them can be used. Further, the lime nitrogen can contain a plurality of fertilizer components such as a phosphoric acid component, a potassium component, and other trace components as long as the purpose of delaying the hydrolysis rate of lime nitrogen is not impaired.

[0012] Such lime nitrogen comes into contact with water contained in soil or the like, and the calcium cyanamide is hydrolyzed to cyanamide (H 2 CN 2 ) having an agrochemical effect.
Ammonium ion (NH
4 +), nitrate ion (NO 3 - is known to vary in). Thus, in soil, lime nitrogen is hydrolyzed to release cyanamide, but in general, the hydrolysis ends in 1-2 days, and the cyanamide produced further changes to urea, etc., The pesticide effect ends in about a week. Therefore, if the hydrolysis rate of lime nitrogen is delayed to slow the generation rate of cyanamide, the subsequent generation rate of urea and the like can also be delayed, so that the fertilization effect can be prolonged and extended.

Further, by adjusting the generation rate of cyanamide, it becomes possible to eliminate the phytotoxicity rarely seen in some crops in utilizing lime nitrogen. Furthermore, since there is no medicinal damage and the fertilizing effect continues for a long time, it is possible to use the fertilizer not only as a basic fertilizer but also as an additional fertilizer for a plurality of doses at a time.

For the granulation, the lime nitrogen composition may be granulated as it is, but first, lime nitrogen and a hydrolysis rate regulator of lime nitrogen are granulated, and then a water repellent substance is mixed,
It is preferable to add it by spraying, dipping, etc., and roll it. According to the latter granulation method, the proportion of the water-repellent substance in the granulated substance is higher in the vicinity of the surface than in the central part, so that the amount of the water-repellent substance used can be reduced and the reduction of fertilizer components can be prevented. be able to.

Water is preferred as the binder during granulation. By using water as a binder, the hardness and strength of the particles become excellent. Also, when a large amount of quick lime is contained in lime nitrogen, the volume expansion when quick lime hydrates may cause the granulated material to collapse and become powdered. It is desirable to mix a small amount and to dissolve some or all of quicklime in lime nitrogen. Urea can also be used as a binder.

g was weighed. In the center, 30 mg of the granulated product of the lime nitrogen composition produced above was placed. Water is sprayed from the top of the soil so that the water content is 60% of the maximum water capacity, and then covered with aluminum foil to prevent evaporation of water so that it is not sealed and left in a 20 ° C constant temperature bath. did. After 7 days, residual cyanamide was eluted from the soil with a 2% acetic acid aqueous solution.

Then, the extract was filtered through a filter paper, and the amount of cyanamide in the filtrate was measured by a spectrophotometric method using pentacyanoammineferroate as a coloring reagent. From the amount of residual cyanamide and the amount of cyanamide in the granulated product before the test, which was previously determined, the hydrolysis rate (%) = 100−
(Amount of residual cyanamide / Cyanamide amount of granulated product) × 10
The hydrolysis rate was measured according to 0.
