Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer for a leaf spring, which has a convenient structure for reducing creaking sound between leaves in a vehicle leaf spring, which can be simply and inexpensively manufactured, and which can be simply installed and removed. SOLUTION: A silencer 1 is composed of a liner 2, overhanging parts 6, 6 longitudinally extending from both sides of the liner 2, and an overhanging part 7 extending from the liner 2 to the leaf 8, the liner 2 being carried on the leaf 8 and the overhanging parts 6, 6, 7 being bent so as to be locked to the leaf 8. With this arrangement, the leaf 8 is clamped by the silencer 1. With this arrangement, the silencer 1 is interposed between the leaf 8 and another leaf superposed on the liner 2 so as to reduce the friction force, thereby it is possible to reduce creaking sound.

2. Description of the Related Art Leaf springs are widely used as vehicle suspensions. A leaf spring is formed by stacking a plurality of leaves, and when the vehicle is running, a relative displacement occurs between the leaves, and the leaves often rub against each other to generate a so-called kissing sound. The squeak noise is an unpleasant sound, and various means for reducing the squeak noise have been conventionally devised. FIG. 11 shows an example of this. A silencer 22 is provided between the leaves 8 and 8a of the main leaf 21, and a silencer 23 is provided between the main leaf 21 and the sub-leaf 8b. Note that the silencer 22 is provided at a portion where the laterally offset clip 25 is provided.

The silencer 22 is formed of a flat resin plate 24 as shown in FIG. 12, and is formed in a rectangular shape substantially equal to the width of the leaf 8. In addition, cut portions 26 are formed on both sides for engaging the laterally offset clips 25. As shown in FIGS. 11 and 13, the silencer 23 includes a flat plate portion 27 and a projection portion 28 protruding therefrom.
Is formed by integral resin molding. 14 and 15 show a state in which the silencer 23 is attached to the sub-leaf 8b. That is, the sub-leaf 8b has the protrusion 2
A long hole 29 is formed through which the silencer 2 can be fitted.
3 is set in the sub-leaf 8a. The projections 28 are for preventing the flat plate portion 27 from shifting vertically and horizontally.

On the other hand, as a known technique relating to a silencer, for example, Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. Hei.
No. 8834. JP-A-5-19607
No. 6 discloses an “insert for a leaf spring” including a frame that forms a space into which a spring plate is inserted, and a projection that protrudes from the frame. The projection is inserted into a hole of the spring plate, the spring plate is surrounded by the frame, and the spring plate is held to reduce relative displacement between leaves to muffle the kissing sound. 6-88
The "silencer of a leaf spring" disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 34 comprises a flat silencer body interposed between the leaf springs, a boss projecting therefrom, an O-ring fitted to the boss, and the like. The boss is inserted into the through hole of the leaf spring, and the O-ring is pressed against the through hole to reduce the frictional force between the leaf springs, thereby suppressing the creaking sound and preventing the silencer from falling off.

The silencer 22 shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 has the effect of reducing the squeak noise, but can be used only in the portion where the side slip prevention clip 25 is provided, and the range of use is limited. There are limited issues. On the other hand, the silencer 23 shown in FIGS. 13 to 15 and the inserts and silencers of the known technique are provided with holes at least on the leaf side, and projections and the like are inserted into the holes to reduce the vertical and horizontal displacement of the silencer. Since it is generally difficult to form a hole in a leaf in a post-process, a leaf with a hole must be used to use this silencer or the like. Therefore, there is a problem that the cost is not general and the cost is high. In addition to the above-mentioned conventional techniques, a means for reducing the frictional force between the leaves by bonding a plate member interposed between the leaves to the leaves is also conceivable. There is a problem that cannot be done.

According to the present invention, there is provided a silencer interposed between the leaves of a leaf spring of a vehicle for reducing a creaking sound or the like between the leaves. The silencer is a flat liner made of plastic or rubber or plastic adhered with rubber, and a base end side is buried in the liner and is disposed so as to protrude from a peripheral edge of the liner, and is bent or otherwise bent. A leaf spring silencer is provided, in which a bolt or the like is provided between members and an engaging member for engaging or holding the leaf is provided. More specifically,
The attachment member is formed of a T-shaped plate member, and an end of the plate member is bent to be attached to the leaf. Further, the engaging member is formed of a T-shaped plate member,
The other member is formed of a plate member having substantially the same shape as the plate member, and a bolt is provided between the two plate members to hold the leaf. Further, the engaging member is a flat plate member, the other member is a plate member having a locking hole, and the flat plate member is bent so that an end of the flat plate member is inserted into the locking hole of the plate member. It is characterized in that the edge is locked to hold the leaf. Further, the engaging member is formed by bending an end side of a flat plate-shaped plate member to form a bent space into which the leaf can be inserted, and to form opposed flange surfaces, and a bolt or the like between the flange surfaces. And holding the leaf inserted into the bending space.

[0008] A flat liner is interposed between the leaves, and the engaging member is bent to engage the leaf. Alternatively, the leaf is sandwiched or held between the engaging member and another member. As described above, the liner is always interposed between the leaves, the frictional force is reduced, and the squeak noise is reduced. The leaf spring silencer according to the present invention does not use any projection or the like, and it is not necessary to form a hole or an elongated hole into which the projection is inserted on the leaf side, so that it can be used for any leaf spring and can be used for a leaf. Is not particularly limited. Therefore, the cost can be reduced.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a silencer for a leaf spring according to an embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 1 to FIG. 3 show a first embodiment of a silencer for a leaf spring according to the present invention. The silencer 1 includes a liner 2 and a T-shaped plate member 3 which is one of the engaging members. The liner 2 is made of plastic or rubber,
It consists of a flat plate block of appropriate thickness. On the other hand, the T-shaped plate member 3 is composed of an elongated first plate member 4 and a second plate member 5 projecting from the center of the first plate member 4 at right angles and projecting therefrom. The central portion of the first plate member 4 and the base end of the second plate member 5 are embedded in the liner 2. Therefore, the first plate member 4
Form overhangs 6 and 6 that protrude from both sides of the liner 2, and the second plate member 5 protrudes and forms overhangs 7 that protrude along the longitudinal direction of the leaf 8 (FIG. 3). FIG. 2 shows a practical detailed structure of the silencer 1, which comprises the square liner 2 and the flat plate-like protrusions 6, 6 and 7 which protrude in both sides and in the longitudinal direction as described above. In addition,
In FIG. 2, notches 6 ′ are formed in the overhang portions 6, 6, 7, but the notches 6 ′ correspond to bent portions.
