も問題となる。単に矩形状の甲板であれば、執務者に面
する幅がいたずらに広ければ、椅子の位置を移動しなけ
れば手が届かない。つまり、椅子を移動させる労力が無
駄であるばかりでなく、移動を可能とするスペースを設
けなければならなくなる。そこで、甲板を矩形の組み合
わせとすれば、つまり鉤型に矩形を組み合わせれば執務
者に面する甲板を手近にすることはできる。しかし、事
務機器を積載するための奥行きを考慮すると、無用な甲
板部分を生じさせることになり、それだけ事務室のスペ
ースを無駄にすることになる。のみならず、矩形の組み
